Awesome video. I have just started sublimating mugs, with infusible ink sheets, and want to try dark clothes. Perfect!!
Given enough vinyl, Angie could rule the world!
Nice 😍 I have to try this. Thank you.
Please do!
I love this idea! And yes - I’m inspired.
Love this idea, thanks so much!
Ohhhh, I may need to order some glow in the dark HTV!!! 🥰
this is a good idea and will do it later thank you so much for this idea
Hope you like it!
Ive wanted to try this. I previously used green for a project but wanted to try a blue roll for the same project (not sublimation). I decided I would go back to the green next time if I did the same project again but knew I will probably still use the blue for something else. This will be perfect to try sublimation on and use one of my cotton shorts, if I still have enough left. Thanks for the idea for Halloween shirt!
I need to get some more colors!
Nice work 👏 👌 👍
Very cool 😎 thanks
You bet!
Good video, can you use any glow in the dark, and does it have to be light. Love your crafts!
I tried two brands but they were both this color. The Siser worked way better.
great video to share 💕👍
Thank you! 🤗
I'm sorry if I missed this but will sublimation work on any HTV or only glow in the dark? (i.e. are all HTV made out of polyester material?) THANK YOU for your help!
I am running some tests for future videos. Right now I am unsure of which will work and which won't!
Good morning Angie!
Morning!
OMG! So cool! This is obviously a simple shape (the circle.) Would it be useful to use the offset feature if one wanted to make a background with the HTV that matches the design? Not sure if my thinking is right on this. Just wondering. Thanks again for another great video.
Yep! I would do an offset so you have some wiggle room around a more complicated shape.
@@AngieHolden thanks!
Angie, can you sublimate on top of regular htv as well?
I have a bunch of things here for testing. I never put a video out or a recommendation without testing first so I am not ready to say yet! You can sublimate on glitter and flocked HTV for sure. I have done that here: ruclips.net/video/gQCZRndBTI8/видео.html
Is green the only 'glow' color? This is neat! Thank you for sharing
I think it is but not sure?
I bought a blue, but don't recall the brand. I know that I bought it on Amazon. .
Cool video. I use Sawgrass paper to transfer the image and the backing doesn't want to peel off like it normally does. Do you have any ideas to get the backing off easier? Thanx for the help.
Sometimes you have to wet it to get the paper off.
@@AngieHolden Thanx, finally got the paper off. Do some colors show thru the glow better than others? I tried a green alien that is seems that some of the colors blocked the glow.
Definitely. I recommend a print with some white area.
Is sublimating on the glow-in-the-dark htv officialy supported, like siser glitter htv, or something done out of trial & error, like oracle 651?
Officially supported? Not sure? I did it and have washed this shirt with no issues.
@@AngieHolden ok. Thank you for all of your videos, hard work, & help🙏
Have you done any glow in the dark tumblers yet by chance?.
I did here: ruclips.net/video/tQCrYfJttws/видео.html
How do you get rid of the square mark that was left on your shirt?
It actually just went away. It was just from the heat slightly changing the color of the shirt for a few minutes. Once it got cool it was fine.
I'm out of my bad situation with my 3rd niece again but no way near where and where I'd like to be yet the internet isn't the best just like there, and so very behind here, ugh and Arrrgh just thought I'd let you know I know you got things yourself take care so am I.
Do you think it would work to use infusible ink over the htv glow in the dark?
Yes that would work!
Did you use the cricut heat press or a normal heat press?
I used my regular heat press but the EasyPress would work.
I know this video came out awhile ago but wondering how this holds up in the wash?
I have worn this many times and it worked great!
Angie-can you sublimate on regular white htv from Cricut? Thought I would ask before I experiment to see if you have already tried this? Lol
I haven't tried it yet at least! I have some more experiments on my calendar!
Can you use sublimation ink with copy paper I don’t want to do a printer test on my sublimation paper and waste it
Yep that is fine!
Eyyyy. I'm early.
How can I put htv on a ink joy pen? Or make an image on a pen that glow in dark with adhesive printable vinyl glow
I am not sure!
Hi Angie, how about the pressure of the press. my paper keeps sticking to the vinyl. help please
You should be able to use just a little water and get off any paper. You can try reducing your pressure so not as much sticks though.
@@AngieHolden hi many thanks i did just that and it worked perfectly 👍
Quick question can you apply glow in the dark htv to wood?
Absolutely! That would work!
I made a wooden Halloween sign last year using glow in the dark HTV, it came out really well!
I know about Circut and the one that starts with S but what about Cameo? is it the same as the other two?
Silhouette Cameo is what you are thinking about. I am not sure of the comparison though.
@@AngieHolden oh I'm new to the scene and didn't know thanks
Wait you don't have to use the clear sublimation htv on the glow in the dark first before sublimating?
Generally it will sublimate all by itself.
@@AngieHolden Thanks that's awesome. I have clear sub HTV but why waste it if I don't need to. 😁
Does it have to be a sublimation design?
You can use this HTV just like usual. You can see a design I did here: ruclips.net/video/fd9A2NDIomw/видео.html
Why does my sublimation paper always stick to the HTV? I literally have to use water and a wash rag to get it off but then it looks amazing. I pressed at 356 for 25 seconds.
I have that issue with some brands and some brands I don't.
So here's a question: can you still do this without a Cricut??
You would need to cut the vinyl by hand.
Angie Holden oof. That sounds like a bad time. Thank you Angie!
Why does my Sublimation paper stick to my glow in the dark vinyl after I press it? It ruins the design because I can't get it off
Just wet it with water and it will come right off. Sometimes that does happen.
