Cricut brand women shirts are fitted , so for most that like a slightly loose fit would want to size up a couple of sizes. The mens version is more of a traditional t-shirt fit. I personally love the feel and wear of Cricut womens T-shirt. What is the right size...the one that makes you the happiest!
I feel like the Sport Tek long sleeve is what I want to try, not for me, but I'm thinking of surfers and beach/lake goers. But we're in Florida and don't often want or need the thicker hoodie, except maybe surfers in winter.
Thank you so much. Great video and very helpful. I did pick up a 100% poly light gray at Walmart, but it defiantly feels like poly. Since I am learning I did not want to spend a lot until I knew what I was doing lol.
Thanks Angie! I’m with you. Ive bought tons of Cricut shirts as well as the onesies. The feel off them is hard to beat. I was sold on them when they came out. 😍
Thanks for the comparisons. I tried the cricut brand. I usually wear a medium shirt but in reading reviews I sized up but the large was still too small. The xl still a bit too small. I ordered the Hanes shirt and it will be delivered today. Glad to see you rated it very good. Can't wait to see how it fits. I'm assuming I can use the cricut infusible in on it.
@@AngieHolden Your videos are so helpful. Thank you so much for them!! I did receive the hanes shirt but didn't really like the feel, too polyester feeling. I decided to try the men's Cricut shirt in medium and it fits great. Who knew!! I do think they feel a bit more like cotton and they are not see through at all. I was almost ready to give up on shirts until I tried the men's shirt.
Angie, I always appreciate the time and effort you put into these videos and listing all the sources. Being in Canada, I also appreciate that the links your Amazon links open the Canadian site automatically, since the majority of other bloggers don’t offer this option. However, most of the suppliers listed here don’t ship outside the U.S., such as Heat Transfer Warehouse. I’ve been struggling to find non-Cricut shirts in Canada. If possible, it would be great if you could offer some options that are also available to those of us north of the border. Also, It would be fantastic if Cricut offered their shirts in more than just white and grey, and more styles and sizes. Hopefully they see this comment and get some ideas. ;) Thank you so much!
Great video and very helpful. I’m so grateful for your videos, takes away the guess work and saves all of us a lot of money ☺️. By chance were any of these shirts washed? I’m definitely interested in knowing which brand held up after several washes. Sometimes high count polyester doesn’t look or feel very good after washing.
This was an extremely helpful video. Thank you very much for doing it. Selecting the correct garments and such can be difficult but you made it much much simpler!
Thanks so much for the info.!! Just got my sublimation printer, so this was good for me to choose the right shirts. You always give such good information on your videos that you can understand. Always look forward to your next video!
I don't as a general rule. You may need to with shirts from a department store however. Sometimes they have a coating that will prevent HTV from sticking.
Are you familiar with the Walmart shirts they sell? They are "George" brand. They are cotton/poly blend. Wondering if you've used those yet and what you think?
Great video. I have done the same... Purchasing different shirts to practice on. I really want cotton, but if must use polyester it has to have cotton feel. However, so far my pressing is producing a brown shadow on the shirt. Is my heat too high? Should I be prepressing and won't that make the shirt brown also? Thank you for your help.
Hmmm. Your heat is probably too high. Are you using protective paper? Try using paper between the heat press and the shirt and cover the entire surface of the heat press with the paper.
Great info however, true sizing is the biggest problem I feel with poly shirts. Love the quality of Cricut shirts but the fun at least 2sizes smaller than noted and they shrink! I have asked for sizing charts before purchasing many times but they are almost impossible to get. There is nothing worse than selling someone a shirt in the side they asked for and they can’t even get it on… I almost hate selling sub shirts for that reason. Any ideas would be appreciated.
Hi Angie! Love your video's so helpful from the ones I've seen. I don't know if you one about doing sublimation on color shirts but how do you do sublimation on like a black or red shirt and have the colors come out in the picture? Can you help me with that. I tried putting a picture on a red shirt and you really see it. Do you have experience with this? Help please! Thank you so much!
Thanks for the video. Can you point me in a direction of tall sublimation shirts that have the cotton feel. I have searched and there is very little out there. Thanks
Do you know if Cricut is working on their software so we can design in their system and send straight to printer without the size limit of 6 3/4 x 9 1/4. I enjoy printing full size images on tshirts but have to use Corel draw or I just started using silhouette software to design and print. Also is there a work around for printing and cutting for 15 Oz mugs?
Thank you for the video and the links. I looked over you videos (new follower I just started last month) but I did not see anything on a sublimation product called Poly T Pro. Have you ever tried it? It is supposed to allow you to sublimate 100% cotton..... Any help would help!
We are finding that the 100% polyester seems to flatten the shirt texture and really show the paper lines from the butcher paper and the sublimation paper. We have been using the auto press at 400 degrees s recommended, also tried it at 360 for a longer period and the image comes out good but still has the lines and the texture flattening.
Are there any 100% polyester shirts that don’t show these lines? We watched your video about tearing the paper to make it a little less sharp lines but that won’t help the texture flattening problem. Kind of frustrating
@@AngieHolden I'm guessing in the last year, since this video was made, there are several new products on the market. Will you do another comparison using more different brands anytime soon? I wish you would do a video using VACUUM rather than pressure to push ink onto objects. I use vacuum storage bags plus a heating pad and a vacuum cleaner and get better results for $2 bucks in parts.
My mom is a medium or small depending on cut in almost all brands. I get her the large in the cricut women's size and it fits like her normal shirts. The men's/unisex seem to be closer to normal size.

what shirts are in the 75% that you recommend. The ploy shirts just are not breathable or have that driworks feel that I don't care for
