- Casa TOME is not an ordinary project, from the terrain with its irregular shape, to the distribution, which does not respond to the archetype of common housing.
It is designed with the aim of generating an experience of absolute and continuous contact with the outside, while maintaining total privacy on the façade. Its simple, sober and modulated volumetry intersects with green patios that allow each of the spaces to be wrapped, providing them with light, ventilation and unique perspectives.
In the search for this experience of connection with the exterior and with the intention of generating wide, extremely comfortable spaces, the architectural program is projected all on one level. This allowed us to have a direct connection between all the spaces along the access axis, where the public and private block are only visually interrupted by the kitchen, which is the heart of the house.
The core of the TOME house, formed by the kitchen-dining room-central patio, is continuously connected to create an ideal indoor/outdoor social space for any occasion.
Materiality, sober and timeless, seeks to create an architecture that highlights volumetry, generating connections and dialogues between materials, natural light, emptiness and nature. The latter is a fundamental element, with abundant vegetation at a low visual level and taking advantage of the existing tall trees in the surroundings and the inclusion of new ones that will generate solar and visual protection in the future.
