I'm only going to write one comment for all the ppl who are quick to judge me as a mother. The situation could have ended VERY BADLY, BUT IT DID NOT! You don't know what you would do in the situation Until you are actually in the situation! I would have had to climb up stairs to get to her walked through the tunnel and by panicking she could have got scared and let go! Obviously then yes she could have been very seriously injured and it would also NOT B ON HERE! If you watch the video she does it effortless!! Its amazing!! She's amazing!! At the very end of the video she says "I like that mommy!" She did NOT get hurt!! O and im horrible for laughing?!? RELIEF JOY HAPPYNESS!! Just BC my three year old is a dare devil and did something 99% of other ppl could not do does NOT make me a bad parent!!

And then relief and hilarity ensues as she's coming back down!!! You all who says she's a bad mother need to become a parent yourself; you can't even begin to understand what's it's like to have children. For those that felt the need for the person to drop the phone and run to her aid, I understand that feeling however what you don't see is that if she does that then a couple of things could happen, she distracts the girl who then drops. she jostles the ride and she drops, she scares the girl and she drops.
She could also just stay calm and hope she holds on.

As a father of a 10month old I'll say that this was AMAZING. Everyone giving you shit doesn't seem to realise the panic that suddenly set in when you lowered the camera, but obviously this is a helpless panic where there was nothing you could do and by the time you realised that this was an "Oh shit...." situation, it had already passed and then became a "Holy shit!" amazing situation.
A lot of parents cotton wool their kids too much to let them even go on rides, you raised a daring kid that attempted to go through the tube, and even found it fun going upside down. Good for you!

It would be a tragedy, of course, but out of anyone's control. "Well don't let the kid ride that!" We cannot shelter our kids from every danger around every corner. This is a play thing that she was allowing her kids to experience, and again, this could not be foreseen.
That moment where she has to decide between being internet famous, and potentially saving her daughter's life is what really makes this a compelling piece of filmmaking.

3 Years late, if you look closely, there's a gap there on the thing, what the girl did was grab onto that bit, and pull herself down, basically for example it's like when you grab onto the bottom of a chair while you're sitted on it, and pull your arms towards you.

That was hysterical!! My daughter would've done the same thing. I've seen those rides before. There was no way for you to get to her in time. I'm glad she is ok. I've gotten stuck in those things as a kid before & I'm sure my parents had a good laugh.

Think about it; by the time you realize your kid doesn't plan on letting go, what could you possibly do? Nobody could have expected the kid to do what she did. The mother had to be at least 10 feet away, and rushing/screaming towards the child would likely cause her to panic and increase the chances of her falling. The mother obviously planned on reacting when she put the camera down, but there's really nothing you can do in a situation like this unless you're the frickin Flash.

1. How is it the mothers fault that the child didn't crawl through the tunnel.... Oh yes I forgot as a mother you must be able to see into the future.
2. I put forth the mother did the right thing under a few points.
a. By the time she realised she was still holding on she could have stopped the ride... When the child would have been upside down head directly to the floor?.... then get the child to let go into the mothers arms im assuming? nope... no sense.
b. the child wasn't distressed, by scream or overly panicking she could have made her child panic causing her to let go at the top.
I think you're a great parent, because every kid needs to do dangerous things - recently many studies have shown that kids who are not allowed to do dangerous things are unable to cope with the world when they grow up. (So all these people who are trying to wrap their kids up and protect them too much are actually the worse parents in the end; they are crippling their kid for dealing.) And you laughing helped her realize she wasn't hurt and all was well.:)

So many negative comments. I bet all the people who are bitching don't have kids, and if they do I feel sorry for them for having crazy over protective parents. If you can't let a kid learn on their own without hovering over them all their life, then you're not a good parent.

Bad parenting? The mother didn't know what was going to happen. IF she'd dropped the camera and started screaming in panic, the girl would most likely have lost her grip out of fear.
