I like to imagine that Vulcan is a kind and gentle person, even in the presence of some Xenos, but when an Eldar appears he switches into a cold hearted asshole, particularly towards the Eldar.

Arch in your honor I did something in a Dark Heresy I played last night. As an elder was berating my inquisitors for being stupid humans, messing with things we dont know, being nothing but ignorant children, yada yada yada. My character, supposedly the diplomatic one, suddenly quipped in her own language: "At least us humans didn't murderfuck a chaos god into exsistance."
This stunned the elder into almost total silence the whole time we had to cooperate and sent everyone at the table into a laughing fit that lasted about five minuets. And the GM didn't ever realize that my character doesn't actually have that knowledge until a hour after the session ended.
Obviously the God Emperor implanted the knowledge directly into his brain to fuck over the filthy space elf; a worthy usage of his power and definitely the best thing to use a temporary connection to The Emperor for.
The god emperor himself was tired of their shit and used you as a mouth piece

That's weird, my post was taken down or failed. Anyway, a re-post. I honestly don't give much credence to Vect's own account of his initial origins. This IS a Dark Eldar we're talking about here. But exactly how he ascended to power makes perfect sense. He could see what the nobility could not. That they simply where not the biggest fish in the sea, and where not too large to fail. He also knew how to use Commorragh itself in the most potently raw form it could muster. (The nobles did not.) He tempted them with the kind of prize, and denied them the knowledge, that would weaken them in all the places he could leap upon. Mere hours later and few key-acts of sabotage, and he had everything to run with and cement his place at the top of a new system.
I can almost see the looks of hysterical glee on the faces of the Gunnery Officers and Crews (except of course the servitors) on those ships, as they overlooked an absolutely target rich environment full of Xenos! I mean, it is not as if they could MISS the Dark City it is that damned huge. Even rounds that went astray would kill a pleasing number of Piratical Vermin. An altogether... satisfactory arrangement... if somewhat... Orcish....
Well nothing can be perfect, and a little orcish WAAUUUGH can be excused for such an overwhelmingly abundant number of targets.
I'd love to see how the Dark Eldars would have dealt with trying to capture alive a truly nuts and melee-combat loving Legion (like the Space Wolves or pre-Heresy World Eaters) in the tight halls of their strike-cruiser.

40 k lore is fascinating but ever since i came across ur work i just cant listen to it from any other source, the brilliant and funny way u tell the story is just unmatched and unique in my humble opinion , thank u so much for the time and effort u r putting into this and i beg u to do more . I think the 'g' in Commoragh is silent, so that it rhymes, somewhat appropriately, with (Sodom and) Gomorrah.
By the way, Arch - Vect's story states that he was on one of the core worlds of the Eldar Empire. And the new book featuring Asurmen (Asurmen: Hand of Asuryan) speaks that some Eldar did survive on the Core Worlds, right in the newly formed Eye of Terror - though hunted by the daemons and always in a risk of possession. Asurmen, known back then as Iliathin, and his brother Tethesis, were hiding amidst the old temples of the Eldar Gods, that still had lingering presence to shield them from the Daemonic predations. Though it didn't help Tethesis as he was eventually possessed and Iliathin was forced to kill him.
But in general, yes, Vect's story checks out. Some Eldar did survive in the Eye of Terror right after it was formed.

T Green They, just like the space wolves have no successor chapters. For the wolves it’s mainly because they just never really listened to the codex at all, for the salamanders it’s because they were literally under Chapter strength by the end of the heresy. Both chapters get away with having way more guys than they should partially because of their clout as legion chapters, and partially because they are so ludicrously loyal otherwise that the inquisition lets it slide.

@@bryanbarcelo5440 I seem to recall that the Templars get away with it by exploiting some obscure part of the Codex. Something about being allowed to recrute over the thousand man limit if the chapter in question doesn't have a home planet to recruit from I think?

Given the total depravity and selfishness of the Dark Eldar, I can't understand why Vect (or anyone else in a position to do so) hasn't simply betrayed the whole city to Slaanesh in return for blissful immortality as a Daemon Prince. As I understand it, it wouldn't take much sabotage of the city's defences to render it suddenly knee-deep in Daemonettes. The offer is surely there, unless Slaanesh actively prefers to draw out the death of their species for as long as possible; it seems possible, but Slaanesh isn't really about delaying gratification.
I can't take this even remotely serious because there is a salsa group called Asdrubal and I was imagining salsa background the entire video.

The Salamander space marines sound even more epic when you consider that they have a history of fighting the Dark Eldar.
I still maintain that the elder had a hand in creating sting Khorne and Tzeentch as well. Through their war alongside the old ones and their belief in khaine I think they contributed to khorne and their constant failing plans and assurances that everything is going accordingly to tzeentch. I believe slaabesh is just their latest fuckery.
