As a beard owner/appliance repairman, I rarely wash my beard. This video explains most of the problems I've been having for the past few years. Thank you nate.
Ahh, Thats Good. Thank you Nate for the demonstration video. I see that i was using your products half correct it seems. I did not realize that the beard oil was partly a skin conditioner. I my beards 53 years of living on my face i have beem lucky to never exsperiance itching. So i was not using the under the beard approach. In the past any oil type products would cause my skin to breakout a little bit so i never thought to try your method. I have enjoyed the way the beard looks more groomed and without all the frizzy loose hairs sticking out all over. Can not believe in my 74 years i never tried products for it before. I do like your wood comb and find the bigger gaps side useful for smoothing out the beard oil more evenly then finish with the fine side to put everything into shape. The next order will be more adventurous by trying some different ideas. Like the butter seems useful. Looking forward to watching Az growup and become the man dog he is destined to be. His sounds are so unique and even though sounds scarry to outsiders i see them more relaxing from a land owners point of view. Thanks again for your video today. Gary
Hey Nate, I've been living bearded since I got out of the USAF in '81. Shaved 3 or 4 times to please my Mom in those years, it just made her happier than roses ever would. Never used any products on it, had folks tell me to color it to look younger, but nah, don't want to. I will give the butter some thought though. Give the kids a ear scratch from me.
Thank you for your service and for honoring your Mother for a short bit. As a mother my self I know how much she appreciated seeing her sons face, all of it. God bless you and your Mom . 🇺🇸
Thank you! I have been interested in gifting your products for my husband and son. They have beards that are different than yours and I did not know what products would be appropriate for them. Now I know!
I’m only 19 I’ve never had a beard before never know if I will but if I do thank you for showing me how to take such good care of it. Unfortunately in my family none of my male relatives have any sort of large facial hair besides a typical mustache. So personal I don’t really know much about facial hair like how long it takes to grows, if it’s hard to grow or like if it’s a genetic thing or something random amongst different people?
I've been having a beard since I'm around your age, not even close to Nate's but with a significant length for the average man at the moment, and I've been discussing this subject with my barber : it's mostly genetics but things can jump a few generations so your family shows a tendency but not the absolute truth, also the density increases with the years, you're nowhere near your full potential at 19. Taking care of your skin obviously would help as it's where the follicles are. And even if you can not grow a full beard there is room for experiment and enjoyment in mustache or goatee, all you really need is a 15$ hair trimmer to get started, no need to invest in pricey tools.
@@firewyatt5730 thank you so much for the insight and information on beard knowledge as it’s something, I really don’t know much about and I don’t expect my family too be very knowledgeable either so I really truly do appreciated it!
74 yrs old, name is Gary, asking for information. Sounds like my uncle lol. Idk if it was actually him buuuut he is around that age, and he loves learning new things.
When i wear my beard shorter (like, less than an inch), i dont usually use beard butter. But if you have a beard longer than an inch, or so, beard butter can be a big help. And i agree, less is more, start with less. A lot of brands over-scent their beard butter, imo. I'm looking forward to trying Nate's products. Great vid, too!
As a trans man and aspiring beard haver, thanks for the info! Probably the most informative but also easily understood guide for beard care that I’ve seen. Bookmarking this for sure
Same here :) this video is really helpful. Luckily I have great facial hair genetics and can grow a beard on just the testosterone pretty easily, but it’s different for everyone
I'm 48, my beard grows at a rate of ¼" a month...I do everything you do, and it definitely does help the beard to be more healthy, and keep u lookin like u crawled out from underneath a rock!
Hi Nate, Here are three suggestions for the name of your new decaf coffee: "Calm Down, Ducks!" or "Calm Down, Duckie!" or "Calm Down, Kitchen Duck!" Mary Mitchell
Hi nate! Would buy your hair oil if it came unscented. I'm sure the scent is lovely but I am allergic to just about everything scent and I don't like to take the risk.
Thanks for the video, I think this will be helpful for anyone who is trying to grow a beard. My beard is similar in size measuring a little over 9inches from the chin. My question is, do you have problems with rolling on your beard throughout the night or lots of knots in the morning? If it isn't clear, I wake myself up if I roll on my hair and then try to move my head. I'm new at the beard game, started in 2020. Before it got long, one hair tie would work but I would get some split ends. Now I'm braiding it at night and it gives it a nice wavy look in the morning when I take it out. Curious if there is an easier way that you know of.
diesent need oil. balm hell control the runners. long beards with no maintenance full of split ends and runners. they think it looks good, looks like shit. even nates is long, but it's thin, can see through it, hate that shit. why i keep mines chest length.
@@joshsmith4512 my Husband is 74 and hasn't cut his beard ever I do trim it being a Licensed Cosmetologist but his beard is really thick as is his long hair past his butt. His beard is gray and his hair is salt and pepper if he doesn't want a Divorce he will not cut either but I have long red hair turning silver past my waist. He did cut both once for his Mom who had Cancer and that made her happy that was 45 years ago.
I really have no clue why you would want such a thing, I think of bearded men like women with those long hairs. THey obsess over them, ive laso noticed it seems to be men who are losing their head hair that become obsessed with their beards for some reason. I honestly dont get it, I have not started losing my hair yet but if I do I WILL not go that route ill just shave it all off. LIKE A REAL MAN HUUUUA

Same. I imagine it's rather pleasant to have a nicely scented beard.

A lot has to do with genetics, but no matter how your beard grows in let it go for 6 months... You might be surprised what fills in.
See my beard.
Ain’t it weird.
Don’t be sceered.
It’s just a beard.

As someone who didn't get the Male tutorial for life, this was super helpful. Hoping some brush training will get things to stop growing sideways.

I have more curly/coarse facial hair. I use beard oil to help straighten and tame my wild growing hair, works great!
Needed this. Thanks
Been waiting for this vid
You can “wash” hair with conditioner in between shampoos.

I’m gonna like this video so when I get a beard, I remember this video
Why does your beard appear to be shorter in the middle than on the sides in front? Good video & good job explaining how to use products.
That's exactly how my husband does his beard oil!
I had a accident this weekend. Had a beard similar to Nates, l was blowing on some charcoal and let's just say.... face fire. 😂😂😂
Any tips to get your beard to grow in fuller?
Quit cutting it and let it grow and fill in... Mine will look much better in a year or so
Nice beard.

So if you're Husbands Beard is past his navel how much should he use. I haven't bought anything because I don't think he would use it.
