6.25 inch wrist and can confirm this watch is a great size and wears smaller. I would say something like a 40mm. The size put me off buying one, but I did and can say I don't regret it in the slightest.
Simply, *the best watch you can buy for $50.* Was considering getting an Edifice EFV-100 variant but the bezel on the Duros make the watch stand out but in a good way. Got 2 Black/Silvers, the pepsi, the Blue-ro (blue face, blue bezel). Waiting on 2 black/golds (use for special occasions) and the batman (black/blue bezel) on back order. All Sailfish logos. 7.33 inch wrist, use black/grey nato straps on the black/silver Casio. Will get some Milanese straps (black, silver, rose gold etc) to complete the looks of the various colours. As the rubber/resin strap is prone to gathering sweat in the recesses. In summation, get a Duro and get a strap that suits you.
I own this watch are there are many Aftermarket watchbands available for this watch. The Lugs inside are 22mm Wide and very easy modded with different bands. Purchase a 22mm wide band and you are all set. Definitely recommend this watch.
I've hydromodded my Casio AE1200WHD-1A 'Casio Royale' and my Casio MDV106B-1A1V Batman Duro Marlin with silicone oil and couldn't be happier with the results! My only regret is not adding some blue coloring drops to the oil first, like I saw in a YT video AFTER I did both of mine unfortuantely or I would have added some blue tint back then but I am NOT going through all that hassle now. Maybe when I replace the battery, I'll do it then. 😄
Indices aren't applied they are actually pressed from the other side. Still a very cool watch and have just taken the plunge on the MDV106 since the marlin logo has just been discontinued on the MDV107!!
The only time it’ll let you down is when the battery fails in 3/5 years. Fit another yourself and you’re away. I have taken down walls wearing this thing, it is absolute BEAST LEVEL. I’ve Swopped out the strap for Natos and bracelets when I’m out of an evening it’s like having a multitude of watches. I’ve sold my Rolly and Omega as this thing is just as tough, more accurate and looks the part for literally half of one percent of the price of my Submariner. It’s a no brainer.
@@garynico9872 , too right, I’ve learned so much about watches over the years and I can imagine it was like owning a Ferrari, regular service, super protective over it every time I wore it. The duros can take a proper smack and still out perform on accuracy. It’s a shame I still don’t have them, But, there it is. Head over heart.
I think the Addiesdive MY-H3 is cheaper and even BETTER - solid link strap with solid end links, ceramic bezel insert and much MUCH better lume. It's possibly the BEST there is for its price (around £35 - £40).
I have three, FYI the indice's arent applied they are pressed into the dial face from the back side - I opened my first one up just to have a look but that being said they sure look great for not actually being applied.
I'm tryna figure out if I can use the istrap deployment clasp with this watch. I really like the watch but this feature is a necessary things to have for me. I need to know what mm length it tappers down to on the strap I think to make the proper purchase.
The only thing I don't like about the Duro is that Bill Gates has worn one. Love my Duro, it's a daily and over 2yrs old... Wears smaller than you'd thing(7" wrist) I'm very hard on watches, have NO scratches on the crystal, and it's in very good shape. The lume is not great, have no issues with the crown, and the second hand hitting the markers is hit or miss(no pun intended). It appears to get better with time, btw. Mine was fine out of the box I've spent more on straps then on the watch and Love it... Spends most of its time on a StrapCode 22mm Super-J Louis JUB Watch Band Straight End, 316L Stainless Steel Solid V-Clasp Button Double Lock. It's a strap monster.
@@rayvega3163 so did many evil people in the past but they didn't make me like them;)...All I'm saying is they could have come up with a more likeable wearer of the watch because Gates isn't exactly popular thesedays.
I’ve got 4……black and Gold; standard black (both with upgraded metal bracelets); blue bezel with blue Neoprene strap; Pepsi on Bond grey/ red NATO. I think the blue does have applied indices but the others are pressed. Just get one, or two…..just upgrade the strap.

Same here. Small wrist. Fits great!

This thing looks even better in person . I have the black and love it ! Thinking of returning my Bertucci DX3 😅
Nice review. I noticed your logo on the face of the watches. Nice.

Got the Black Duro, looking to get the Batman soon
I'm hoping that Casio will release the Duro in red, orange, and white.
Those would sell like crazy.
And tiffany
White already existed but that shit is very hard to find
I wish I get the gold and the blue dial here in India.
Red duro is a no brainer. I’m still shocked they haven’t done it. I’d also like a Casio Hulk. The Kermit/starbucks isn’t enough green for me.
Just bought this as a work beater. I deliver drywall. Rain or shine. I think it's gonna be just what I'm looking for.

Have his one and he black bezel. Both refitted with sapphire. Still the best watch for the money.
It truly is one of the best value options out there
I just ordered a steel bracelet, a new clasp, and a sapphire crystal with a cyclops.

Seems like I made the right choice. Can't wait for my watch to arrive ! 😃

@@AffordableWristTime Received the watch yesterday and you were right. It looks awesome!
I got the pepsi version. Awesome affordable quartz diver watch!

Which color is your best
I have the blue bezel, blue dial version. It's all a good looking watch.
Those are great too!
You got the smurf!
Love my Duro, best $50 spent
Best value around!
That Orange one is nice.
I didn’t know it came in orange!

it's a nice watch... but Bill Gates wearing one isn't a selling point.
Just got mine today. Black on black. Woman love shoes, some of us men love watches.
Amen to that.
I got the Batman,Pepsi,Blue and Kermit/ Hulk/Starbucks lol
Pair it with a grey striped NATO strap, and you have a super affordable James Bond watch. Which also makes it look way more expensive than it is.
The only thing I don't like about the Duro is that Bill Gates has worn one.

Lmao you probably won’t like the air Gates breathes….oh wait he share the same type of air as us 😂

Another great review thank you
I appreciate it! 🙌
Where can I get this watch .. Online ? Any links ?

Of the watches you showed I like the Casio Duro better! If it works it works!

Is the lume servicable at night? Or is it useless?
The lume is not good to be honest, but you get SO much for the money, I always see past that.
That Citizen is hot!
Model?
Red Citizen Promaster!
Want to buy sir
Changing the horrid strap on these Duros goes a long way to improving the wearability & look. Otherwise, great beater watch.
i can buy 240 Duro and 2400 gorman (5€ craps) with my 12k$ Rolex ...i love my Rolex and my Casio at same level
Fair! Each are different enough on their own.
i know great NATO's for 50$... 100$ steel bracelet are not an obligation.
Bill gates is not cool
