Joby Wavo Lav Pro Review - Lavalier Microphone Review! Compared to Joby Lav Mobile & Sennheiser ME2

Joby's recent launch of the Wavo series of audio equipment gives users high quality sound on a sensible budget.
Althoguh not cheap the entire Wavo series is well priced, and the Joby Wavo Lav Pro promises broadcast quality sound for under £70.
But has Joby been able to deliver? In this review I review and test the Joby Wavo Lav Pro and also compare it to some of my other microphones, including the Sennheiser ME2 and the Joby Wavo Lav Mobile.
In addition I discuss some of the benefits of the small design of the Wavo Lavo Mobile, how it could be hidden under clothing and why this microphone is able to deliver fantastic audio quality at a sensible price.

Great review! I´m curious, what´s the tradeoffs between putting a directional mic on a camera and a mic like this?

I think it depends what you’re doing, lav mics are usually omnidirectional so great in a dedicated recording space but less so in very busy areas. I do usually find the sound more pleasing than a shotgun though!
