I just realized you were using the Insta360 Flow 3-Axis AI-Powered Smartphone Stabilizer, on your real estate video…so does the mobile microphone work on this device simultaneously? When you’re creating contents, do you record the voiceover later or during the walk-through?
Hey! I have the DJI OM5 for smartphone shots. It depends on what works for you! I find it easier to record a voice over after a video is edited or it will end up too long for me. But if you’re on camera, or want to do POV shots sometimes it makes more sense to just record audio then to streamline the process (explaining what you’re looking at etc). Mounting a mic on a phone on a gimbal might be a little tricky since it changes the weight a little bit and makes it a little bigger so it could hit the gimbal potentially in some moves. I’d probably go with something wireless if you’re recording audio while using a gimbal. Especially if it’s to record someone on camera. The tiny mic wouldn’t be great for that
I bet my old RODE mic is way more phallic than yours, you should see it with its furry wind condom on 🤣😂 it's way longer. In fact so long in some instances I would have to put it on in reverse if using a wide angle lens so it did not appear in the top of the film.
