- In the spring of 1993 Papaji and David Godman sat in the beautiful botanical garden in Lucknow, where Papaji lovingly answered a wide variety of questions.
His answers are sometimes serious, sometimes humorous, but always profound and direct.
The questions to which Papaji replies to are:.
. Why is what you offer not called a teaching?
. Are you a guru?
. Is there a power, or grace, in your presence that helps people recognise the Self?
. Are there any qualifications for enlightenment?
. If enlightenment is so easy, why do so few succeed?
. Is it necessary to have a Master or a Guru?
. Are ecstasy and bliss states of mind?

This man is 83 years (!). Look at his intelligence, energy, concentration. I think i can barely remember anyone in my life who was at this age and was the same in that terms.

Best advice I have ever heard.
I had a dream of him where he was at my home wearing orange shirt and dhoti reading letters with one of his follower next to him. I saw him and went near by. I bowed down and he touched my head. And when I woke up my body posture was same as bowing down in the dream. It was all bliss.

Right now 2022 there is no available Satguru in a human body. Many healers who have integrated the Satgurus presence. . Yet ...Papajis Grandfather Guru and Ramana Maharshis Guru is here. Arunachala is in a physical form in Tiruvanamalai in Tamil Nadu India. Go there for a little and tpur work is done.
Many teachets calling themselves Guru... Satgurus.
Etc. All talented businessmen with agendas brilliant speakers. But all their talk is borrowed from the true authentic Satguru. Great that you are on the search for authentic. You will know when you are in Its presence. Trust only in yourSelf.

Regardless of the bare fact that Papaji was unverified, and was not qualified to be a "guru", he said nothing about Mooji's state. Mooji's alleged realization was also only "self declared".

Papaji a few years after Tony's first visits to India did declare Mooji to be enlightened along with several other devotees such as Gangaji, and even a very young Sam Harris. He talks extensively in his book about Papaji's fastfood enlightenment in his book waking up.

There is a important differenz, if I call me a teacher, master, guru, god, I built a distance between me and the other. May be, someone become a teacher, master, guru for you, keep this for you. Dont try to influence someone else to declare smeone as a teacher etc. The truth needs no name!

His comment about laughter certainly needs qualification. There is laughter stemming from nervousness or anxiety which is hardly the sort of laughing being endorsed here. And there's sadistic laughter or laughter associated with cruelty so again the kind of laughter endorsed here is hardly that.
In my own experience what IS endorsed here is a hearty laughter that expresses what a joke so much of what we take seriously really isn't. You could even call this a "mocking reality" laughter which hopefully gets one to stop reifying so much of what we perceive in the "outer" world.

The fact that you ask if one still doesn't "get the message" from this video is nonsensical because environmental factors or outside agencies can never bring about a radical revolution from within that project the state he resides in. Also the fact that you identify it as "mystics", dividing them from yourself and therefore dividing reality more and more, as if they are different from you shows precisely that you've given your authority away and that you did not "get the message". Look for the Truth and don't get fooled along the way my friend. Don't try and teach what's not teachable, because there is no one to pick up the phone..
