Wow, I didn’t know you were a celebrity. This is great…! Very personable nothing like somebody who really believes in what he is doing. That makes all the difference Jerry. I can’t wait to get over there…
Thank you! Myrtle Creek really is a gem, and the art community is a big part of that. Have you visited the glassblowing studio or Eternity Road Arts? They have a free art collaboration where people bring their projects, share ideas, and get inspired-such a cool experience! I've visited 40 out of the 50 states, but Texas is still on my list. The Gulf Coast of Texas sounds amazing! I've been to all the other Gulf Coast states. Which part of Texas are you from?
Great question! Myrtle Creek is home to the South Umpqua River, which runs right through town. There's a large park that offers a variety of outdoor activities, plus a public golf course for enthusiasts. You can be in the woods in just 15 minutes, with plenty of hiking spots to explore, and the ocean is only about an hour and a half away.
I lived there when I was in middle school. I stayed in the south umpqua Inn for a long time. Also worked at Dairy Queen. Do they still have the South County market? A friend of mine and his family owned a place called digital magic. all the teenagers in town used to hang out there and play video games. I had a lot of fun in that town.
It's awesome to hear about your memories from middle school! The Dairy queen is now Tommy's and South County Market is not here any more. Sounds like you realy liked it where are you now?

Hello! 👋 I'm from Myrtle Creek too. Millsite park is great. I love the covered playground for the kids so you can take them out in almost any weather!
It's always nice to connect with someone from the same area! Millsite park is indeed a gem for families.
