The Yugo lived on until 2008 overseas. The electrical system didn't fizzle out like this video says. I still have my 88 Yugo and it runs and drives good.
@wonderyears_nostalgia Thanks. There was a game called "Monster Combat" which was an early text D&D type game, and a game called Reversi. 5 1/4 inch dual floppy disks. I can still hear the tick-tick-tick of the floppy loading into RAM....

George wasn’t always bwald! I miss the 80’s. Plastic durable toys. Metal Tonka trucks you could bring into the collapsible pool, forget about them and then dive into the pool and nearly sever your pinky toe off on the bumper. Garbage pail kids cards. Don’t forget Go-Bots- not Transformers. Gimmicks, guts and teeth metal- hair metal.
PLEASE BRING BACK THE McDLT, every time that McDonald's did a faceoff between the Big Mac and the McDLT, the McDLT out sold the Big Mac by more than 2 to 1. But just because a few people complained that it wasn't good for the planet McDonald's stopped selling it rather than letting the customers decide if it was worth it or not. Personally I wish I could afford my own McDonald's franchise so I could make it a permanent item along with the McRib. And style it like all the McDonald's from the 70s and 80s, when they were colorful and enjoyable to go to.
After tasting New Coke, I couldn't wait to get the original Coca-Cola back, which, fortunately, didn't take long. Incidentally, I had pneumonia last year and my sense of taste was so off that I couldn't eat anything and my weight went down to 108 lbs. The only thing that taste decent to me was Coca-Cola.
Just a thought, what if NEW COKE, was never discontinued. They simply rebranded it as "classic coke" ,with the new formula, after spending presumably millions on research and development. I mean 1984/85 was the year they switched to corn syrup vs sugar. Coincidentally the same year as New Coke...
Who cares about the packaging 'issue' with the McDLT if it was good, then that's irrelevant. I'd order it just because it tasted fresher as a kid, but threw away the tomatoes haha. Back when they had the tray chutes for stacked up pre-cooked burgers. Although I learned that if you just got custom orders, they'd be forced to make your order fresh.
Shame these are US dominated. We in the UK had the Sinclair C5 as one of our biggest failures. Powered by either pedals or a small battery, the tricycle that was meant to go on roads, but was too small & frightening to try out for fear of getting run over! Check out its history here: ruclips.net/video/lL_0QGvPz7M/видео.html
Thank you for your comment! This is an American nostalgia channel. Hopefully, one day with some help I can branch out to UK nostalgia. Wow! That Sinclair C5 personal vehicle would definitely not work here. It kinda of looks like an old motorcycle side car.
Coke was being beaten by Pepsi as far as taste went... pepsi had the taste challenge and most people liked pepsi over coke because it was sweeter so coke tried to even the field by bringing out there version of pepsi. I grew up in a post WW2 family and my parents didn't have any pop in the house except coke. (something to do with cokes marketing during the war) I was like 12 when I had my first pepsi... I was like 'where has this been all my short life!?' lol I'm now 70 and have never bought coke again, unless there was no other option, like Dr. Pepper or rootbeer... compared to pepsi coke is dishwater!
@@wonderyears_nostalgia I can drink pepsi just about any time with any meal! I prefer a pepsi with pizza rather than a beer any day. I'll drink other pops but I always tire of them and have to get a pepsi or I'll go insane! lol I used to love Dr. Pepper but it seems just like carbonated sugar water compared to what it was back in the 60's with it's fruity smell and taste. I'd walk my dog to the local gas station back when I was 12-13 yrs old and the guy that ran the station would see me coming and have a Dr. Pepper and a Milky Way ready for me when I walked in... all for 25 cents!
Is there anything that surprised you? Anything you think should be brought back? Things Rich Families Had in the 90s…That You Wanted! ruclips.net/video/1KhnyprpH-8/видео.html
Trying to sell bicycles to anything but young children and adult males with arrested development that makes them still cycle into adulthood was always going to be a financial recipe for disaster.

@@danielboguse4249 where do you live?
and your fanny pack, leg warmers and walkman😂😂😂😂😂
I'll give you 20 bucks for it if you fill it with gas!!
Sorry for the very late reply. Thanks for the comment. You are still driving a Yugo?! 😳
Good job 👍👍 .
Thanks 👍
My father would bring home an Osborne computer on weekends from work. I played on it for hours on end... happy childhood memories.
Sorry for the very late reply. Thanks for the comment! Were there any games on it?

Wow! Floppy disk games! Now that takes me back.
I liked the concept of the Yugo. Too bad it didn't work. It might have been a 1980s version of the Volkswagen Beetle
Sorry for the very late reply. Thanks for the comment! I remember they pushed real hard to be in America.

The mini pizzas were pretty good . Comparable to pizza hut .
The energy drink market killed the need for a morning soda market. Pepsi AM and TAB won’t stand a chance.

Thanks for the comment. Sorry for the late reply. I think the taste difference was so obvious there's no way they can pass that off as Coke Classic.
some of these did not fail, they were just discontinued
Sorry for the very late reply. Thank you for your comment! I would love if some of them made a comeback!
@ yeah, me too
I’d say that Pepsi am could be good now.

I never got to try one. Must have tasted delicious!
E.T. wasn't a bad game
I had it back in the day. Eventually I read the directions and finished the game. I played it over and over and over trying to speed run it.

@@wonderyears_nostalgia LOL. Awful isn't it! Sadly, Sinclair never recovered & sold his business to a rival UK electronics company called AMSTRAD. 😢
New Coke didn't entirely disappear. Its flavour lives on, in Diet Coke.
Ha!

All you did was talk about the stuff you showed during the intro. No suspense.
sorry to disappoint 😩
nobody likes pepsi
I would only drink it if Coke wasn't available.
