Oh my gosh! I am so happy to have found this video! NO ONE explains the difference between clouds and pearls. NO ONE tells me the different consistencies and combinations needed to have a successful pour. I have been stumbling around blind! Thank you!!!
I've tried all different brands of Satin Enamel "sample" jars and found that I LOVE the PPG the most and am getting GREAT results if anyone else wants to try? It is LESS expensive and find it to be just as good as the Decoart! Beher, (sp) ,Glidden (HD) is real good too, but a little more money for the sample jars the same size as the Decoart jars. Just saying.....🤐Thanks Tammy! Maybe I should try making MY OWN? Good for YOU for discovering THAT!!!!! I'll TRY!! Thanks! 😉 LBM 🥰
Do you recall where you bought your PPG paint? I tried this w/a sample size Behr satin enamel i got at Home Depot but didn't work for some reason:( Also assume her pouring med. was Liquitex but wish she'd confirmed that or listed it in notes section🤷🏻♀️

I watched this earlier today while I waited for our baby doodle to come out of recovery from surgery. All went well, spay and teeth cleaning. BUT now that the night is all calm.... had to THANK You💕😘
Thank you, thank you 😊 You are one of the few who understand that when just starting out, we want to try with cheaper products before we indulge in the expensive ones. You also give so much more, proportions, paper tests, knowledge about so many different things. I am SO appreciative of what you teach. Your way is MUCH cheaper than what I came up with though so I'm going to get these products and experiment with them too. Thanks SOOOOO much for sharing!!!!! Huge hugs 🤗 my friend!!!

You’re amazing. I don’t know what is do without you because even after taking the Bloom class you helped me more than the course materials. Keep doing what you’re doing. We need you!

@@tammyandersonart I concur with everything you've said here, Tammy. What you describe was my experience as well. I wasted time and, like you, a whole lot of money.
I have been trying to understand the pearl mix and cloud mix for about a week and was very confused...!!! That is since the first time I decided to try fluidpaints art last week. Alas !!! I am so glad I am here today watching you. You have taken the mystery and cloud of confusion out of it. I can not thank you enough for this and also for your detailed instructions with the video demonstration. You have a lot of patience to make all this simplify and serve in a pallateble form. Ofcourse I will have to see this vedio again and again to be able retain what you have shown and said in this video. I hope my fifth trial with the pour paint will have some success with those pearly pop ups.
I love the results of both paintings. I’m 84 and just began actively doing pour paintings for my own enjoyment. I have always used oils in painting landscapes and seascapes, but I find acrylic pours so relaxing and the effects are just mind boggling. Thank you for the explanation of the consistency of the paint mixtures. It is very helpful, and I’m eager to experiment.
The science part of Fluid art was my obsession when I first started. I have no idea how much time I spent figuring out what I could mix n get all different results. I STILL have never used any premixed pouring paints. I want to though. But for a long time, I thought it was "cheating" lol. I still spend hours wasting-not really wasting-paint playing lol I just love the fact I don't totally control the outcome, yetthe science thrills me that way predictable results hahaha. I got the Deco Art satin enamel in linen white, it's white but a shade off, but when I mix it with the white paint, you can't tell the difference. Milk paint also works.
