Just in the middle of a cab off on a 2014 f350. I've done maybe 5 or 6 cab offs. It's my 3rd time all by myself (usually there's 2 of us) and my 1st diesel. Which is perfect timing to watch this because I wasnt sure what to do with the plastic fan should bolted to the engine. I see it just stays with the engine. Nice. My friend told me about pulling cabs and it's made engine swaps so much nicer to do. Just my opinion.
You don't have to remove the cab on your superduty to service the engine, but it helps.
Ha ha ha! I was going to use that line, it definitely helps!

I replaced the gasket under the turbo on mine right in my driveway, of course cab on. Took about 6 hours..

I makes it way easier, glad I could help!
My question is what makes that a 120000 dollar truck makes no sense
I learn something every time you make a new video.
That's awesome Mike, thanks!
That's the first time I've seen that, wow! Very Interesting - however, I think I'll keep my F-150...lol
Great video Brian. First time I’ve ever seen the body separation done it’s strange and fascinating to see awesome. Thanks for sharing my friend.
Do you have to remove the cab on 2020 models?
Yep
That mech was like dude you are wasting my time. Nice video though.
Thanks, I kinda was.
That was interesting. Looks like that cab already has plenty of rust. I'm sure changing out a short block is big bucks too.
Diesels have a 100k warranty, so most of the ones we see are covered. Otherwise and engine job is around $20,000
