At the begining of the video the sound is not that great, don't know why.

Your the only video on RUclips that addresses this issue that I know of couldn't find another one so thank you.
You are welcome I realy apreciate a good Feedback. 😊 With the begining of April, I will try and find a solution for the turbo oil feed pipe oil leak. So, stay "Tunned". ✌️
Probably one of the better videos I've come across, and now I think I'll do this on my ST. Thank you!
❤️
Did this job on my car last week. Had a road trip this weekend and everything looks good no oil any where on the tranny. Thanks again for for this video it’s an easy fix.
You're welcome mate. Glad that my video is helping others ✌️
Thank you! This is common on the ST's also.
✌️

You're welcome ✌️

Thank you 😊
Thank you mate
Cheers for the vid man keep it up.
Many thanks 😊
Thank you very much for this video and the previous one (the diagnostic), i was worry that my engine was crack or something worse. I will attempt to fix it very soon. Again, thank you.
Your welcome. If the engine will crack, you will know, for sure. 😅
Nice job man mine leaked out all the fluid so I'ma have to do this. Thanks!
Good luck ✌️
Thanks for this video i did this the other day with your guidance and just checked and topped of fluid. Wasnt much lost maybe. 1 or .2 qt the mess it made was deceiving.
How did you check the fluid? And it only hold 1.75 quart so if you put in that much is was incredibly low... the way you check the level is from a weaping bolt.
@@tomahawk16 theres only 1 way to check the fluid. .1 or .2 is not incredibly low.
Thanks for the video, I believe I'm having same problem with my 15' ST
You're welcome ✌️
@@SlowFord also subscribed you've got a very interesting collection of videos👍🏻
Thank you ✌️
I am very sorry for the low quality sound at the begining of the video. 😔
My SE with the MTX-75 trans has this issue as well which is weird because none of the MTX-75's in the years before the Mk3 had this issue. I figured it was probably a missing gasket between the transmission case and the shift tower.
Maybe they just tried to be cheap 😅
Yes👍😊😊👍👌👌
😊
i made an attempt to remove the tower on my 2018 focus st, and it will not come out. i don't know why i did everything just like in your video. its almost like another bolt is holding it down, but i can't find it. i noticed in your video you show 4 bolts. i was only able to find three.
There are 4 bolts, look again.
Great video just would like to know if trans fluid is required or not fill or not
No need to. ✌️
But if it's been leaking, you should top it off.
Any update on this? I noticed a very small amount of dried oil near the tower on mine and thinking i may just go ahead and do this. Do you think a high temp silicone gasket maker would do the trick?
Since the making of the video, I didn't had any kind of problems. I used the same kind of high temperature silicone. Remove the tower and you will see that the silicone applied by the factory is missing. Or damaged. ✌️
@@SlowFord Awesome I will be doing this tomorrow! I noticed the breather hose on mine was also cracked, do you know if that hose is attached to the shifter tower unit?
@@1QuickRS yes I believe that it is attached to the tower shift.
Take your time, do it properly. Disconect the battery, because when you will remove certain bolts from the tower you will come very close to the battery tray where the cables are. There are 4 bolts from the tower that needs to be removed. Take your time. One bolt will be a pain to get it out. Clean the surface from the tower realy well then apply the silicone, let it a few minutes to dry the install it.
@@SlowFord Yes I noticed that in your video.. I am fortunately very familiar with this process as I just had everything removed today to install a JBR short shift arm then I noticed this oil build up and it’s leaking down to the bottom side of the transmission.. put everything back together then I watched your video SMH lol Shouldn’t be to challenging though and thank you for your advise! 🤟
@@1QuickRS you're welcome. Enjoy 😊😅
What would happen if i dont fix this issue?
Try a paper gasket instead. I put sealant on the tower and this just disintegrated the sealant a couple of months later
Why does the link say don't click it?
It's only a joke, don't worry about it 😅
@@SlowFord Alright, quick question, where did you get the moly sealant, i can't seem to find anywhere online that sells it.
