I’m just so glad we’re about to have legitimate competition between AAA devs in the sports game genre. It’s been far too long that every league/sport has pretty much been monopolized by one game and one dev company. At the very least, the mere existence of this game is going to push 2K and HB Studios to make a better game next year to compete with this game. Yeah, that does look bad.
Alot of those cameras in 2k are similar to what EA did over 15 years ago with Tiger Woods games...so I'd guess EAs new golf game will be Similar to the older Tiger Woods games...God I hate EA, constant recycling and never innovating ! I did like the old power boost and spin boosts TW golf had by tapping buttons fast. But I'm 45 now, I like the 2K three click swing...too much gaming = arthritis in your hands✋️ !
Eric i have an older console xbox 360 and i play Tiger Woods 2014 and that game that is decade old is better than 2KPGA 23 and it has weather effects time of day during the tournaments and better camera angles.EA sports are very predicable in their games they will come back in the space with a high quality game and when they control the space the quality will drop off.
2K was the equivalent of a PS3 game graphics why's. It is absolutely shocking and embarrassing that people play that game. Seriously it is the worst graphics I've seen on the PS5 and it's that bad so any improvement on that will be good you cannot compare EA sports to 2K 23. I will do it really well to 2K guys please just stick to your basketball and your other sports
Told you ;)
Me = Sad

Wouldn't play it even if they paid me, EA sucks and the 2K game is amazing, why would I waste my time with this garbage? It'll be a cold day in hell before I ever buy an EA sports game again!✌️
2K golf is good, but not amazing imo. The career mode is awful. The game cheats.
2K is not amazing game because of lack of content .EA PGA will have a more in depth career mode and will have more to do out side of straight golf.2k having course creator does not make the game stronger than a EA game because the most players do not want 1000 generic courses. The career mode is what most players want plus the Majors and a online mode that works.2K pga has had no competition in the golf space.
@Time2ShineX EA online mode has always been average at best, one on one matches was OK but if you wanted to play 4 ball, it was a struggle to even connect! I doubt it's going to be great because I just don't trust EA at all.. More power to you tho, personally I won't be spending money on this game but will check out people's videos on it out of curiosity! I barely even play 2K since I have a million things on my mind at all times and spend most of my time playing Birdie Crush on my phone lol! Not saying people shouldn't get it, I just won't be, one because it's too much to spend on another golf game and 2, I don't have enough time to play it anyway since I have plenty of other interests altho, I do love golf and am addicted to it! For your sakes, I hope it'd good! 😉
@@gagadreams You need to stop judging the game on Rory 2015 EA are a lazy company when they control the space but when they want to control a sporting genre they have the finances to muscle out the competition, the game looks like a lot of money has been spent, more than 2k23.Having brought 2k23 on release i was very underwhelmed with the game ,it looks low budget and lacks a AAA career mode.Be sure to check my channel because i will be streaming EA PGA on March 24.
@Time2ShineX I'll definitely check out your channel cuz I certainly won't be buying it but I am curious to see how it is! 2K is enough for me personally, I love creating courses and playing my own creations since they're usually crazy fantasy courses noone else wants to play the since they take golf too seriously, I just like to have fun! 😉
Nerd 🤓
EA have had 7 years to develop this game !! No 3 click initially, no course creator .... really ???? 30 courses - you're going to get fed up playing just 30 courses, believe me. You think its a lot?? it isnt. Am not overly excited about the game. I didnt enjoy Tiger Woods - the game play was not enjoyable. So - we'll see eh? Cheers Doug (from Down Under)
Weston if you dislike Tiger Woods then you will dislike EA PGA just stick to 2kpga and stop complaining,i don t care about course creator because most of the courses are garbage anyway, some players want a career mode with some depth.Weston i don not think you know what you want anyway.EA sports invented the swing system in golf games in the first place! playing a round of golf on 1000 generic courses is not what i want,so i will try EA sports. This a next gen game PS5 XBOX S .
@@time2shinex707 Am not complaining, just putting my point of view - there is a difference. The EA game will need to be really good to knock pga 2k off its perch. We'll see. As I said the graphics look great, lets see how it plays. If it plays well and the general consensus is positive I will probably buy it. As for your comment about the course creator on pga2k - that sums up your lack of knowledge on the game. A lot of the courses created are excellent. PGA2k is the best golf game out there. Its not perfect, but none will be. Hittem straight
@@douglasweston126 EA invented the modern golf game look at the swing system a EA knockoff , some gamers want a career mode not playing on a random course from a unknown.2kPGA is not a next gen game and remember this licenced courses are what most gamers want not a star wars course .2kPGA is a dull swallow boring lazy golf game that lacks polish and depth and a descent career mode.EA pga2014 is a better game than 2k23 if you dislike the Tiger Woods EA games then you will dislike EA PGA .Stick to playing on the star wars course.
@@time2shinex707 Sorry - disagreee totally. A lot of the courses generated on 2K are excellent, and NOT star wars courses. Yeh - some of the fantasy courses are in that style, but then its up to you if you want to play them or not. I dont. PGA2k23 is the best golf game out there at the minute - we'll see what EA brings to the table. I hope its good. I'll take my time watching people play the game for a while, and see what the general consensus is before I make a decision on whether to buy it or not. Cya
LOL 30 fps. In 2023.
Shameful. Shameful display.
Not a good look.
30 fps🥱. I’ll wait until this game is $20. Pitiful when so many superior graphical games with intensive load can hit 60 fps easy. Good job EA✌️
