Have y’all ever used a paint stripper pad on your angle grinder for removing paint? Use to grind and prep a lot of different metals at JMP in Kato, but it looks like your way was probably faster.
We have not but I might be doing some body work on the Meano Camino this winter and use that technique 😁
How well does this method of urs work when using the propane ? How well does the paint last doing this I a should say ?

You don't need to sand the premier?
It’s probably a good idea to scuff it a little for better adhesion.
The acetylene probably cost more than the headers !
