Nice one man! The car example is my style of modeling back in the days. Would be great to have 3ds max's surface tool modifiers to make this workflow even more procedural :P
Modeler for Houdini is getting really advanced have you considered making turning this into a standard alone app in the future? Maybe for iPad. Nonetheless this is an amazing release and I greatly appreciate you for making modeling in Houdini easier for us all.
Very impressive set of changes with tones of long anticipated tools and features! 🎉🥳 Should I stash nodes trees on my current modeling projects before updating to the new version?
Are there any features that this lacks in comparison with other DCCs that people typically model in like Maya or Blender? Strictly speaking about features related to direct modeling of course
There are no limitations. The main goal of creating the plugin is to make direct modeling as convenient as in other well-known programs. However, the procedural nature of Houdini can make even the direct modeling process engaging and unlike modeling in conventional programs.
Hi Alexy - ive sent a couple of emails to your gmail address regarding a purchase I made a few days ago on the older version. Can you confirm you've received it.

Is it possible to have a in depth video showcasing the tools and how to use them accordingly?
some up-to-date videos would definitely help inspire new users

Should I stash nodes trees on my current modeling projects before updating to the new version?

@@ModelerHoudini I did not receive an email. I bought it several years ago, and I am interested in upgrading.
Hi! Can I use indie version of plugin, if I have houdini fx? Project will be converted to indie?
Hi! No, for Houdini FX you need the Studio version
Omfg!! Awesome
It looks like this would be useful for retopo work, can anyone comment on that? I’d love to be able to have a good retopo option right in Houdini
