While I try to answer as many questions as I can, there are more questions than I can answer by myself so if you are someone who might be able to help, please do so! The community is so much better when everyone is involved and helping each other out. Our strength is our willingness to help each other!
Also please feel free to like or dislike the video. Your feedback is always appreciated so that hopefully I can make my future videos the best possible! Thanks and happy studies!

      2x * - 3 = -6x

in fact it is the best way. if you practiced factoring with many problems, the succeeding ones won't even be a problem anymore, your brain's instantly going to tell you that these are the correct factors. Moreover, you can easily tell whether or not it's factorable. I think much of the problem lies with one's basic math, put some effort on it.

Is it overreacting for parents to flip out if you have anything less than a B in class and still complain about B’s? Mine do that but I’m not the smart kid and they put so much pressure on me and give me so much grief when I’m not the smartest kid in class, I just want to know if anyone else has parents like that. It’s really stressful and they never help anything they just add stress to the equation

    • @hyunyi4870
      @hyunyi4870 5 лет назад +14

I totally understand where you’re coming from my parents can be the same way, the best thing you can do is talk to your parents and ask them to give you a break and tell them that you are trying to be the best you can. And also talk with your teachers, don’t be afraid to go to extra help, get/do extra credit and ask questions, teachers can really help. I was failing one of my math classes a couple years ago and I talked with my parents first and told them I’m trying my hardest and then I talked with my teacher for steps going into the future and I’m doing a lot better. I hope this helps and good luck!

This is solving quadratic equations, not inequalities. For quadratic equations you simply factor (using a number of different ways, like completing square or quadratic formula) and you solve for x inside the brackets.

We spent a whole lesson doing this stuff even though most of us had understood within the 1st 10mins, sure work with the slower to understand students for an extra 10mins, but ffs why do they waste the time of higher tier students by giving us 9999 problems to work out while we wait!?

So basically to solve for number 2 what you do is you take that 2x from 2x^2 and times it by -3
Why? because we can’t factor the -3 and 5
Because no two numbers can add to 5 and times to -3
So you times the 2x and -3
    2x*-3 = -6x
    it would look like
    2x^2 - 6x - 5x -3 = 0
Now what you have to do is find the difference between the -6 and the -5
How do you get the -6 to -5? you add 1
And that becomes the new equation
    2x^2 - 6x + 1x - 3 = 0
    Now you group it
    (2x^2-6x) (1x- 3)
You can take out the 2x
So now it would look like
    2x(x-3) (1x- 3)
And for the (1x - 3) you can take out 1
    Giving you
    2x (x - 3) 1 (x- 3)
Because you have x - 3 twice you get rid of one and add the 2x and 1 together as a group
And the answer would look like
    (2x + 1)(x-3)
Please like so others can also understand it
    Thanks

uhmm... no offense but I am in 6th grade and can understand this.
Let me explain: the reason why they take -3 and 1 is because the integer we are trying to add up to is -5x. we want -3 to be connected to the 2x so we can get -6. -6 + 1 = -5
