i learn this 35 years ago from a classroom but understand nothing. by now, after watched this short video make me fully understand it is not too hard indeed, thank you Sir.
I didn't think I would ever understand how to use the quadratic formula until I found this video, thank you for explaining it so well, it's not easy but this is where you understand the concept and then work from there to make it easier for yourself, practice makes things better.
I think the simplest way by some margin is to multiply 10 by -3 the find the 2 factors of 30 that combine to make 13, ie 2 and 15, giving (x - 2)(x +15) now, the clever bit is just to divide the 2 and 15 by the 10 , simplify and allocate the denominators to the x terms giving (5x - 1)(2x + 3). There is a YT clip on this.
So nice of you Garbriel! You are an awesome 👍 I'm glad you liked it! Please keep sharing premath channel with your family and friends. Take care dear and all the best😃 Have a very happy and blessed New Year!
THANK YOU VERY MUCH SIR . THE 3RD METHOD WAS BIT DIFFICULT TO ME . I GUESS IM GONNA USE THE FIRST 2 METHODS IN THE EXAM. ANY WAY THANKS AGAIN FOR THE GREAT VIDEO
You're very welcome Aftab! Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this comment. I'm glad you liked it! Your feedback is always appreciated. Please keep supporting my channel. Mashallah baby thumbnail is so cute 😀
I am glad there are now many easy ways to solve for the trinomial, good for the students . But actually, in real life, this kind of math is of no use! Actual situations are much more easy if one just have a common sense!
Can all 3 methods be used for any quadratic trinomial? It looks like if you have a quadratic binomial (3rd term is zero) completing the squares is the only way to go, correct?
The leading coefficient does NOT have to be 1. That is false. In fact, it is easier to complete the square in this case by multiplying through by 40 (thus avoiding fractions). So 400x^2+520=120 , now our first coefficient is also a perfect square (20x)^2 and the 2nd coefficient is an even number. So (20x +13)^2=289 Easy.
So nice of you Makwanya! You are awesome 👍 I'm glad you liked it! Please keep sharing premath channel with your family and friends. Take care dear and stay blessed😃
Dear Andy, if I were in your shoes I would definitely try factoring method first. If factoring not feasible, then go for Quadratic Formula. However, Completing square method is a very powerful tool used in applications! Thanks for asking😀 I'm sure you are a brilliant and bright student 👍 Please keep sharing my channel with your family and friends. Take care dear and all the best😃
With respect, calculate the discriminant first. That will tell you if: --- it can be factorised (the discriminant will be a numerical perfect square), or not, or --- if the quadratic is a perfect square ( ie b^2 - 4ac = 0), or not . Completing the square on 10x^(2) + 13x - 3 = 0 is unnecessarily difficult/complex, since the quadratic can be factorised.
At last someone clever that knows how to explain what is regarded a bit difficult. Brilliant explanation. Thank You.

With 10 -3 u will not get +13, this will not work out,
I studied maths at school many years ago, never found it easy and have forgotten so much, so this is helping me gradually understand again.
U have to put everything in practice all time.
@@nanburponle5516 thats the only way its gon stick
An hour of trying to understand compare to a 15 minutes video. Thank you so much, you help me a a lot sir.
This is the method we learnt yesterday with our lecturer, I hope it gonna be asked in the exams, then I'll surely nail it, thanks so much.😊❤
If you see this comment, Pay attention to the work so that you don't fail your test tomorrow
My test is today I skipped the day I was learning this and now I have to pay😅
Okay thanks
Writing AS Maths test tomorrow 😢😢😢
You'll fail in flying colours
Thank youuu 😭😹
very excellent explanation where even a slow leaner can get the concept very fast thank you so much
God richly bless you sir I never understood this concept in class for a year now :)
Thank u so much sir. I had a hard time understanding quadratic equations, but now its the easiest lesson for me....😊👍👏
the way you explain it makes solving these equations makes it so easy to understand!
Well explained... Thank you. I recall when I was a student and how interesting this subject was...
So nice of you Garbriel! You are an awesome 👍 I'm glad you liked it! Please keep sharing premath channel with your family and friends. Take care dear and all the best😃 Have a very happy and blessed New Year!
I love 3rd method, and also love you and your approach.
💞💞💞

Sir, your method of teaching is really understanding.l just wish l could send some questions which are so tricky.
I just found this video and it really helped me a lot learn this in advanced!! Thank youu!!! 🙌
Nice, waaaooo, best teacher

Excellent video tutorial! Thank you so much.🙏🏽
Thanks, I have got a lot from you🎉🎉🎉
best explanation ive seen yet. thanks!
Thank you very much sir it's very clearly understanding explanation
I have never understood but now i have got it💯👍
❤thanks very much sir, I am so grateful for your help❤
I think the sign is is important. It should be 10x(-3)=-30 such that - 2x15=-30.
Otherwise one could also take 10x3=30. 10+3=13 too.
Wow I finally understood completing the square method
Bravo ! Sir , help us on sequence and series please.
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Let's help people with Math.
Thanks so much ,it is been very difficult for me at school ,I think I understand a little 😊

Excellent explanation but the method he used to factor doesn't work in some cases..
than you very much this is the best teacher i have got
I just knew there are three ways to solve the quadratic equation. Thanks
hello i really like the way you teach thank you
-1/5 and 3/2 .might I'm right .cause completely confuse sir .please make sure how you did it.thanks
Do we have to multiply by 2 and take square always?
Why we used 30=2*15 then -2 +15 and not 30=3*10 then +3+10 how to choose
thank you.
either 3 or 10 had to be negative..not both positive which is the only way to get 13 your way
Thanks teacher❤
10 x 3 = 30 = 15 x 2. Hence 1/10 (10 x + 15)( 10 x - 2) =o . Hence (2 x + 3)( x - 1) =0 so x=1 and x = -3/2 = -1 1/2. PSD.
Sir you're the best
After 11 minutes in the video when the left side becomes a complete square what happened to 13/10x in the equation ... X +13/10 + (13/20)*2
😊😊😊 very nice and beautiful ❤️
Great video!
Thanks so much 😊
Nice lessons sir enjoyed it
well explained and much appreciated.
Very nice explanation Sir
Thank you so much sir I got something reasonable here
I basically needed more illustrations on graphical method of solving quadratic equations
Wonderful & perfect
Thanks your a lifesaver
Thanks 👍
Thank you so much!!! This is amazing! 🤗
who are you guys on this youtube factorising 10x2 +13x -3 as (10x-2)(10x+15)?
I always find completing the square amusing, when you get the horrific looking fractions like 289/400 during the working out.

Thank you very much
Why not 3 times 10? 10+3 is 13?
Why divide by 2 in completing the square
What about 13÷10x ..how it is romoved
Thanks
Make more videos about quadratic equation
Thank you so much sir
Amazing!!!!!!
Thanks for explain
Please sir help me with circle theorem
Thanks sir
Thanks you sir I was having hard time with completing the square
If the coefficient is small, example 3.
Was referring to factorisation!
Thanks from a dad trying to help out his boy
And also can u pl explain about plottings
Sir in your factoring 10x . 10x is 100x^
nah
Thankyou so much sirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr🎉 for 🎉🎉❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤csm
Thanks so much i was green about this but am now ok
#QuadraticEquation #trinomial #polynomial #factoring #factor
very good
Amazing
Write 13x as 15x-2x
2x + 3 = 0
2x = -3
x = -1.5
Please rectify my last step. Factors were (2x+ 3)((5 x-1)=0. Hence x = - 3/2 = -1 1/2 and x = 1/5. PSD.
Pritam Dhinsa ji, you are right on. Cheers :)
H^2_15h+54=0
#crossmultiply #crossmultiplication #crossmultiplying
10^2+10x+3x-3=0
On 12 minute why 13/10 disappeared?
how about the X method can u make video too? thanks
b^(2) - 4ac = 289
10X^2+++13X----3==0
A========B===C
13++/13^2--4(10)(3)/20
13+/169++120/20
13+/289/20
10x - 2 = 0
10x = 2
x = 0.2
(2x+3)(5x-1)
10X^2-2X+15X-3
S=ut+1/2at
#binomial #linearequation
👌👌👌💫
The formula you used is wrong of (a+b)^2 it's a^2 +2ab+b^2
10x + 15 = 0
10x = -15
x = -1.5
good
Wo😂😂😂 the best
Lcm comes 400 not 4000
