Hope you all had a safe and good Halloween. Final Round will go up tomorrow. Enjoy!
YEEEEEEEEEET
Aaannnnddd...YEET!
Great round Kelsey, way to go!
I hate that word.My silly classmates do it all the time and it bothers me.Honestly, she's not any better probably worse
Hearing her speak about her play shows just how much she loves you and pays attention to you Brodie. You got you a good one.
Awsome job Kelsey! I hope she realize how insanely good this is for playing as little as she has, and at the same time without practice. Your a natural Kelsey, keep it up :) And nice job Brodie documenting it, really enjoyed the video and both of your thoughts afterwards. Much love!
Can’t wait for Round 2 more exciting then Brodie’s tournaments 😂
Just kidding but actually keep on playing Kelsey it’s great to see you out playing for the fun of the sport.
Wasn't really good at all man. 200 ft baskets should be part 2. They got par 3 and bogied some. Woman league
@@damianmasters6289 A good throw/shot is still a good throw/shot even if its 100ft or 400ft. My guess is that you are one that watches more discgolf than plays it, because all who practice discgolf would say this is really good. If you account that shes only played a couple of times and this is her first tournament, and she is hitting solid S-curves, solid upshots to basket, not wiffing hardly any throws. Its talent! and you can also see that she has competed in some kind before, because your first tournament can be nervewrecking!
I have seen people puke before their first tournament, they wiff throws all around the place and even throwing backwards. For the small amount that she has played, and no practice and still shoot a round like this is awesome, both male and female. Keep it up both Kelsey and Brodie, you are doing awesome both in discgolf and on youtube! all love
@@Nexieee I play disc golf all the time you keyboard warrior. Just saying you shouldn't enter a tournament with so little experience.
@@damianmasters6289 Since she's in the lead of the tournament, why shouldn't she?
Thank you for sharing this experience ☺️ Great job Kelsey!
I have to admit as commentators you both sound like a great team together. The right balance of who is talking... The pace.... Real good stuff.
This is awesome! Great job, Kelsey!!! It’s because of you guys that I will be playing in my first disc golf tournament later this month. Keep up the great content! I love that this is something you two enjoy together.
great to hear from both of you on this coverage. well done Kelsey on your first tournament round. some absolutely great shots.
Kelsey Commentary (Kelseytary?) is DEFINITELY something that needs to make a comeback on the channel.
I laughed so many times
Really fun to watch this journey. Keep up the great work you two!
Great job Kelsey! That was fun to watch, can't wait for the next round.
Her Yeet's made me jump everytime lol
Congratulations Kelsey for a great result for round one. I wish you the best of success on round two. Keep focused, stay relaxed, and have fun. You will do great!!!
Yo Kels is EFFING KILLING IT! amazing job. Can’t wait to see next round. Keep slangin
Great job Kelsey. Solid first round, glad to hear you had fun.
This was super fun to watch! Loved the commentary
I’m super impressed! Kelsie you’ve got a lot of potential to become whatever you want to on the disc golf course. If you want to be you’ll be a lights-out putter and you’ll find your backhand when the time is right, no doubt. I started forehand too and backhand felt awkward. But then I just went and had a casual session of playfully yeeting different backhands with impromptu styles, and out of the fun I found a style that clicked and felt like my own
But anyway, you make disc golf fun and enjoyable with your vibe, so keep that shine and spontaneity!-it’s worth more than a bushel of birdies.
Yep. That smile after good drive or putt you see? She is enjoying this great sport of ours.. Nice to see that. Good luck, have fun!!!
So cool. Great stuff. Thanks Smith fam!
this is a really great example of how to manage your game and manage the course within your skill set. great video!
Congrats Kelsey on your first tournament round! Bring home the W!!!
Nice Round! I have a Machete and a Thrasher because of watching one of yall videos a while back. You make me want to go throw some forehand shots now! Keep it up guys, Im a fan!
Great video. First tournament and great forhand. Few putts go your way and you have a 6 stroke lead. Loved watching it!
Wow, that was great! Good luck for day two.
Great job Kelsey! As a professional ball golfer who sucks at disc golf I know the importance of just getting stuck in to tournament play, even if you don’t feel ready, just so you can see where you’re at. Even better that you did really great and threw some awesome shots
I love watching people getting into disc golf like this.
Yeah that is what we expected! Totaly dominating that class darkcorgistyle! Good job!:):):):)
Congrats on your first tournament!
I seriously wish I had that zone upshot in my bag. You’re killing it!
Really great first round of your first tournament Kelsey!
First tournament in the book. Congrats.
Job well done.
Very cool. Keep up the great work. The both of you.
Sweet, congrats on your first tourney. I am signed up to play an event later this month, MA2 !
Congrats thats so awesome!!!
Great job! Loved this video!
Awesome dude!!! Well done Kelsey I'm tempted to give a tournament a go myself haha:)
Golly! What a round for never playing! Kelsey, you're a natural! Way to go!
Great job, Kelsey!
I said I thought you’d finish +8! You did super well! Impressive for how little you’ve played. I guess helps have Brodie as your husband! Excited to see your next round! Nail all those garage putts this round!
Well done! Fun is the goal. Of course, playing well adds to that.
Her approach game is fire!
Great round Kelsey, way to go 👏👏👏
Love your vids mate!
Awesome job Kelsey!!
Way to go.Great first tournament
Great job Janice! About to go watch round 2 now. A little tip though, on your final hole of the round you ended up with the weird footing from that divet. If you are not throwing that same disc again then sometimes not using a marker and playing behind your original throw can help your footing situation. I think it may have helped you on that particular instance but it is tough to say without being on the course to see it. Hopefully it'll help you out in the future! Keep it up!
Great job, you will only get better next time. Fan here!!
Brodie reminds me of Paul McBeth 5 months ago when Brodie was the new guy lol.
They grow up so fast...
Great job Kelsey!!!
Great job! Also, great voice for commentary.
Great to see Kelsey playing a tournament as such a new player. Even better to hear her commentary and understanding of her play. Seems like the fans above are asking for Yeet!” stamped Zone or Thrasher
Man I could watch Kelsey play all day 🥰
Very awesome she did amazing she should have her head held up high first round down an have the lead is an accomplishment! Can’t wait to see round 2 tomorrow!
Ive been looking forward to this since the practice round lol!!
That's amazing great job
Great job Kelsey I play normal golf 🏌🏻♂️ and when I’m relaxed I play better too , so just relax and enjoy the round 👍. Keep slinging them discs
What a great job while under pressure for your 1st ever tournament during your 1st season of even playing disc golf. Your score was better than some of the intermediate and even advanced players! That is dark horse. Very inspirational for us newer players to just get freaky and get out there to play tournaments.
Wow I am stunned. I cannot believe you have rarely played let alone practiced. Your score definitely says otherwise. Great job!
Good efforts Kelsey!
Good Luck Next Round!
Well done!
Woah. 2 shot lead and left a good handful on the course
Nice job Janice!!
your first tournament went way better than mine so good on ya!!
Great tournament :)
im personally scared to enter a tournament. great for you. this was fun to watch. much respect
Do it. Make friends, watch the other competitors, learn. The fun surrounding a tournament is the best part. You'll never regret it.
Awesome job. If you learned a stand still backhand for everything under 100' straight at the basket, think you're at least 5 strokes better than this round.
those were some insane upshots, seems like she doesn't realize how good those are
Good job hopefully you start to get into the game more an crush them ladies keep it up
Very well played Kelsey! Once you can add a more flat and hyzer shot to your forehand you'll be a force to reckon with.
I’m proud of kelsey for doing the course maintenance
Good job!
Man, Brodie! You’re so lucky to have a wife that’s this committed to playing disc golf.
Bring it home, Johanessburger!
Nice. That was way better than my first round, where I don't think I missed a tree either day. I'm pretty sure I tried to hit them all.
Congratulations Kelsey! You’re one of us now ;) are you excited to do another tournament?
That’s gold!
Awesome!
Go Kelsey!!!!!
Great first round Kelsey
Alex Clark is my favorite course 👍
Already watched this video but i just got the notification 🤳
Awesome job! Maybe think about getting a beefier driver also because the forehand comes out with a lot of anhyzer and a beefier driver might help fight that anny a little better. I kind of have the same problems and don't throw much further but I use an anax for my forehand because it usually will be beefy enough for me to fight out of my bad form plus they will be more reliable.
This old video showed up in my dashboard tonight and I watch it again. Kelsey (CHK), for someone who doesn't practice for disc golf, I can only imagine how good you could become if you did some serious practice. Will you ever consider going on tour again?
That aggressive "keep slinging them discs" gets me everytime
I am living in Mckinney! youtube algorithm bring me here and i dont even know what yall doin lol!!!
Playing disc golf check it out !
Great to see more ladies in the sport too! Thank you!
You're wrong. It's not good. Dudes play way better than ladies. That's why they separate them in sports. Ladies are just here for the yoga pants views.
Go Kelsey!!!!
Go Kelsey !
My home course. Grew up in McKinney and learned disc golf from Alex himself
Please upload round 2 tonight! I have my popcorn ready! Wanting to see janice take it down!!!! Hopefully she doesnt fold like a cheap lawn chair lawn 💺!!!!
Ya love to see it
Leader!? Awesome!
2 shot lead? KELSEY!!!!! 😎👩🙅♀️🏃♀️🤷♀️🧘♀️🏌️♀️👍☝️💅🥏🥏🥏
DEFINITELY THE LOVELIEST DISC GOLFER OF THEM ALL
Her up shots are super solid
Great job Kelsey. Just make sure if you’re in someone else’s line of sight while they’re putting that you stay still.
Brodie and Kelsey are awesome and why my girlfriend and I both play! What bag was Kelsey using, it looks like a great little bag for not needing 20+ discs to play!
Great first effort, and the commentary is killer. Just curious about her tossing the disc she marks off to the side, could that be counted as a throw? KEEP SLINGING THEM DISCS!
Kelsey you're doing a great job! One thing you should keep in mind and i don't know if others have mentioned this but when picking up your disc to putt and your tossing the one you previously to the side technically you're card mates could call that as stroke. I realize most players wouldn't care BUT you ought to be careful.
Wrong
Let's gooooooooo
Nice round..go into round 2 with your head held high. Confidence is key. Got a damn good caddy with ya.
love this course! great job Kelsey! Brodie you like this or towne lake better? towne lake is my main course
Towne Lake is a decent course. Alex Clark is great for short game work
