I think the golden era was when the NES came out in the early 80's. Back then we only had the 1-bit Atari system. When the Nintendo came out it had such good graphics at the time.👍🏻

Hace 5 años mi hermano falleció y no sabes que nostalgia me da recordar esas tardes interminables en las que aveces terminábamos peleando jaja excelentes tiempos que quedan muy grabadas en la memoria y gracias a estos videos podemos regresar a esos tiempos, gracias al que lo subió.
The graphics are good for a PS1 game but I cn't find any words that accurately describe how the cars handle in this game. Even for an arcade racer the handling just looks very off.
Handling was way better on PC and whole game all together. Physics wasn't the best and it made you feel like driving paper car, but only at certain situations (hitting bump at high speed etc.). But hey, it's 19 years old.
This game is without a doubt ahead of it's time. The nostalgia of the menu, the graphics and everything is perfect. This is what a game is. Not what we have today. And I'm sincere when I say this.

Great one to see. Love both those part videos big time. Makes me think Gran Turismo combined with this game sounds like exciting fun. The reason why that is great with Gran Turismo combined because you can add racing car parts to all Porsche cars.
Probably one of the best ps1 games. I loved how the tracks changed with the times as well as the music. Golden era was always my favorite one, though my favorite car was the 993 Turbo.

@@nightweels Yeah, this version has a little better test driver mode with no skid pad etc BUT the PC version blows this away in actual driving dynamics, physics and of course graphics. This PS version is just another continuation of the NFS 3 and 4 arcad-ish driving game. Oh also, don't even get me started with that god awful in-race music on the PlayStation. Trash!

Golden era is the time when i stayed for the very long time instead of proceeding to the modern era because of the music and the car as well. Here are the cars i used to use in golden era: - Class 3: 944 and 924 turbo - Class 2: 924 Carrera GT and both coupe and convertible of 944 turbo - Class 1: 928 GTS turbo and 959, the fastest car even though this car is hard to control Anyway, porsche 928 should've been in class 2 instead of class 1 because the power is only 240 hp while 944 turbo's power is 250 hp, the fastest car in class 2
After enjoying watching Need For Speed High Stakes on the PlayStation 1 it is time for me to watch Need For Speed Porsche Unleashed and this is going to be fun! :D

The trick to the evolution mode was buying a used 356 white roadster, winning the class 3, and then buying a used 550a and racing it in the Panamerican race, bringing good money. Then acquiring a few of the Panamerican cars to sell in modern era lol 😂
Imo ps1 version is better than the pc vers. Pc version looks same as nfs 4, roads are so wide as an airport runway.. Ps 1 menu, gameplay looks much fun. Though graffics worse but overall better imo.
este juego es una piesa maestra en terminos de carreras, lo jugue completando todas las eras al 100% una maravilla, los need for speed de hoy en dia se enfrascan mas en carreras clandestinas y eso me aburre.

I love the Golden Era
I think the golden era was when the NES came out in the early 80's. Back then we only had the 1-bit Atari system. When the Nintendo came out it had such good graphics at the time.👍🏻
