I have the same laptop but I play mainly with the lowest settings. I get 200 fps on average with dlss enable in quality but I also get the same fps with dlss disable which makes me think I should be getting more fps. Bench says I have 99% cpu bottleneck. Any tip on how to fix this?
The room temps are actually on the higher side, 30 degrees. A cooler room would have a good impact on temperatures. Still the temps aren't anywhere close to 87C GPU throttling limit and the CPU averages under 90s.
I have the same rig, for some reason my FPS went from 180 to 90 and I don't know why, nothing was changed - would you happen to know what could have caused it?
Try running the game in Ultimate mode through Armoury Crate (the dGPU only mode). I was getting a lot of stutters in standard (Advanced optimus) mode, so make sure that is set first. Then check for thermal throttling if any, and drivers as well. Let me know if you have any issues, I have couple more things I encountered with the laptop that I can share if this doesn't work.
@@gamersanditparadise Much appreciated! Yes - I have it on ultimate mode all the time, I run BF2042 on Ultra and get 130FPS so the fact this game went down in FPS not sure what would cause it. Do you get the armoury crate to run your scenario profile? I created one with lighting for all my games, but when I launch it through the crate - it just doesn't change.. weird.
@@MrSquishticles Can you see if FPS has dropped in other games as well? Or is it just this game? Then the issue can be with the game itself.Maybe the scene you are currently playing became more demanding than it was earlier, or an update came and ruined it. Let me know.
Just that. Every other game is 130FPS ultra settings on BF2042, apex over 300 etc. I think it's because I put my polling rate on my mouse up from 1hz to 4hz. I will try to put it back down to 1hz and see what happens
@@gamersanditparadise no other games i get flawless FPS - 140FPS in BF2042 ultra settings, Apex is above 300. I did a fresh install of the game again and it's same issue.

Theres no way to fix cpu bottlenecks. Maybe you can try increasing your cpu power limit through manual mode or something, that should help.
