- I'm back in hometown this weekend in West Yorkshire visiting my parents, so I thought I would take you charity shopping with me!
In this episode we cover secondhand gifting and find some fabulous clothing. The shop I visited today was The Kirkwood Hospice. The Kirkwood Support Life for anyone affected by a life limiting illness.

I run the steam room in a charity shop and we have some lovely pieces donated to us. I always enjoy emptying the bags of donated clothing , shoes and linens. I never know what I am going to find. xx

The fascinator looked perfect . The fur coat was a lovely colour and suited your petite frame. The shop was brilliant quality and very low prices . I enjoy buying charity shop items that look new or looked after . It’s very good to recycle clothing . Often something gets worn once . Why not donate it and let others benefit from an item you won’t wear again ?
Coats often are great bargains . Pure wool for example.
Lots of new items for sale too like fluffy socks and shopping bags . I have a drawer that I collect new items in so I always have a card, chocs and a little gift for anyone. Some charity shops sell chocolate too ( in good date too) . I enjoyed your video and you have good style and knowledge of a quality item . Take care and happy bargain hunting x

This shop is a must for me, I have just bought 4 brand new fashion handbags as birthday gifts for my friends here, amazing value, they often seem to have brand new items on sale at a fraction of high street prices.

My best bargain was a discount rail in cancer research for a Wallis petite black jumpsuit for £3 - I’ve worn it loads and absolutely love it - so comfortable and yet glamorous! Gets tons of compliments every time I wear it!

Monica, I took on board a previous video, look for small jackets. Today I picked up a linen Beige jacket, one button at top, three quarter wide sleeves. I didn't like the button but had a large pearled one and changed. Love your videos and suggestions to buy out of season too, as may be cheaper.

and I get lots of compliments.Whereas in the high street, everybody is wearing what they see on the mannequins.

👍 Thumps up for the casmere blend coat from the men's section! I bought all three of my winter coats second hand, all of them wool-casmere-blend and all between 12 and 20 €. They will last a lifetime!

At about 18:36 in your video, it looks like there is a Royal Copenhagen covered vegetable or casserole dish. I could be wrong, as other manufacturers make dishes in a similar pattern. However, a quick search on the Royal Copenhagen website shows their covered dishes retail for over a thousand dollars Canadian. I love the blue onion pattern, but have never been able to find anything in a charity shop yet.
Loving the video, that cape blazer was amazing 😍, too bad that it was too big for you. I have to ask, why do the British seem to love hats and fascinators so much? I think that they are lovely, but I can't remember the last time I saw one on sale, or anyone wearing one. Maybe I am not mixing in the right circles 😂😂😂😂

Please explain how you can tell if the shoulders fit or not.
Hello! It’s entirely personal and based on your proportions, but I personally like them to fit as closely to my shoulders as possible as I’m quite small.
For ladies with wider hips, a wider shoulder can create a really nice hourglass shape to balance out the appearance of the hips.
Have a play with shoulder widths and see what makes you feel best ♥️ Hope that helps ♥️
