    My physical symptoms I experience (earfullness which shifts left to right but
    Mainly on the right) it affects my balance and gives me movement feelings etc.. it varies each day… I have learnt thru Jim that this is a neural circuit dizziness, was diagnosed with pppd, but boy is it hard to just welcome in these sensations that are taking over my life and quality of life … cancyou explain what welcoming and inviting the sensations means thanks for this great information once again

    • @thepainpt
      @thepainpt  Год назад +5

      Yes means non resistance to what you feel and seeing and perceiving what you feel as being ok so it changes the brain circuits around the symptom. Then other really good reason to welcome it is because you can’t stop anyways it’s impossible when it involves the limbic brain. Your power lies in how you handle it. Fighting the reality of what is creates more suffering and negativity in the brain. I admit that it’s not easy when you have very strong debilitating symptoms, but this approach seems to work for conditions that involve the limbic brain.

      I feel exactly the same as you. Mine stems from the left side of my head, like there is some kind of pressure. I easily getting dizzy and sometimes nauseous. Everything has been ruled out. It's hard for me to welcome it. I had it for four years, and it started after I won a court case. I have tried pushing though and also to be indifference, but I can't help being affected by it, and how much of my life it has ruined

    Hey Jim Im also using cold water therapy and it absolutely resets me from a level 7 anxiety to 2 or less. I just use my well water so it about 72 degrees sometimes i swim in the cold springs where i live. Have you ever tried it ? Also I am evaluating my thoughts trying to respond and process my thoughts better. Like if I evaluate a thought that is not healthy . I tell myself this is keeping me sick and I move on to a something Im grateful for. But I first have to reset with the cold water so i can think rationally and get out of the anxiety funk.

      Yes, I took her course. I also went to Mount Sinai and did the OKN treatment and gyrostim in Asheville. I have a different take on what makes a "normal" person get on a plane, land fine and then has mdds for five years. I have read tons of medical abstracts and talked to doctors in various states. Something disconnected in the cerebellum. The signal of being on the ground was fine until I slept where my brain "forgot" where it was and went back on the plane again. Repressed memories are not going to change that in my opinion.

    Thank you so much for all of your videos and help but when your symptoms are debilitating and you can’t just carry on which then bring strong feelings of depression about how it’s impacting your life it’s natural to have negative feelings towards them, I know I have TMS 100%, I try to acknowledge my emotions but this doesn’t seem to be helping. How do I challenge myself when my symptoms are so bad? I’m using negative language I know but I’m being realistic with how things are and I’m really struggling to create any positivity around it.

    Could you clarify, please? Alan Gordon in his book speaks of an incident of 'pushing through the pain' on a long car journey and the result was that the pain increased massively and the incident reinforced to the brain that the pain was dangerous. I thought your RUclips talk was excellent but I'm confused as you seem to be saying that we should act normally on the basis that there is 'nothing to fix'. Does this mean that when the pain kicks in after walking for 20 minutes I should just ignore it and keep walking? Or when the pain massively kicks in if I try to sit through a band practice with my musical instrument (I've had to give up playing in the band because of pain) I should just ignore it and carry on playing with the pain getting worse and worse? Would really appreciate your answer on this. Thanks!

    Would you consider GERD/acid reflux also as a mindbody symptom? because what happens is that the lower esophageal sphincter doesn't close properly. it stays open even before and after eating. I really want to heal from this issue. But this is like a structural thing no? but the stomach is also connected with the nervous system so i just don't know if mindbody works for GERD/acid reflux. • @thepainpt
      @thepainpt  Год назад +1

      Good question. You invite them in because they’re not dangerous. You have to let them pass for them to be processed by your nervous system at the same time because they’re not dangerous you’re not going to give them a lot of weight or listen to them because they don’t mean a problem exists physically
