It's incredibly satisfying to see the project running smoothly and the entire build process detailed in the video. However, after extensive searching, it seems no one explains how the code works. Reading through it and trying to modify things, like changing the TFT screen, is pain in the a**, a total nightmare. Thank you, "A Boy Can Dream," for this fantastic video!
Hey, really cool video! Building a solder reflow oven is something I've been particularly interested in for a while but haven't really dedicated any time to it. Your video randomly showed up on my yt home page! I like a lot of the stuff you did and will probably eventually look into modeling something off of your files here. Thanks for the video!
Great improvement on the original! I am in the process of building one too! Good research. Sign me up for the giveaway too 🙂. Keep up the great continued well explaining. Peter AU.
I saw another youtube vid where they said 1kw was enough if you stuck with the smaller ovens. I’m not doing any insanely big boards so the size is perfect for me. And it heats quickly and perfectly as well. It can ramp to 250C in about 3 mins at full power. With the profiles this is more than enough. 2.4KW is 20 A in America so would need a special outlet. If you’re at 220V you’re fine. Guess it’s just a question of size and how much you want to spend.
Warning: 1:25 Here's where you should pause and put down your coffee, tea or any other beverage, in fact anything edible, and swallow. Now you can proceed.

Yeah, a simple build (with actual PID smarts) but definitely worth it.
Wow still a bit to get to 5k views. I may be 100% ready to build this by the time it does. Nice project thanks for doing this

I am surprised 1kw oven is enough, i was planning to buy 2.4kw oven.
