Still waiting for a Megadeth Sound Like.
ThaBadayuss please
they have King Vs on their website so it could be done.
ITS COMING DONT WORRY, I PUT I LIST OF BAND AND THEY HAVE BEEN DOING BASICALLY THAT LIST TO A T AND MEGADETH WAS ON THE LIST
stop screaming you fucking nob
And how would he be screaming?
Girls, Girls, Girls was, perhaps surprisingly, not on Dr. Feelgood but actually on Girls, Girls, Girls.
Eckard Nieman i sometimes feel like they don’t either really know the band or just take their time to research the band
Haha
Reabea was playing it wrong to he kept on looping it until the end of the riff
Eckard Nieman yea I saw that too and was like wtf how do you get that one wrong
@FalconerPhoto aint that cute
..but its WRONG!!
"I can't play with floyds" says the guy that has two signature guitars with floyds on them.
Todesnuss ----" wah in a rack ? how does he get a wah pedal in a rack configuration " says the guy with signature gutars.
doesn’t mean he uses the trem
Todesnuss exactly !!!!
I have had a Love/Hate relationship with Floyds . Didnt have quality one for the 1st half of my 35 yrs of playing . Then a band called Pantera came to a small club in Houston about 2 yrs before ( Cowboys from Hell ) broke out Large . By watching what Dime did with front and back dives made me need to get a guitar with a Real Floyd , and now can use it properly like he did . Still hate changing the strings though , chaps my Texas ass every time lol
Sounds too muddy, nothing like MM :(
Ramon Mendoza I think mick uses a treble booster to get a bright and gnarly high gain sound like iommi and may and others did. I know I saw him once say in an interview the secret to his stone is lots of treble. They could have used something like that here 🤘🏻🎸
needs more treble, mick mars always turns the treble all the way up.
Powers 19 what I was thinking as well
Mick is the reason why I play guitar. One of the most underrated players.
and he speaks of the priceless value of evolving..."or else...pffffftt....you might as well put your guitar down
CaliPsych...a.k.a. Mr Dave
sound like joe bonamassa!!!
That's why it'd be interesting to see it attempted on a budget. Just how close can you get for cheap.
***** Same, post it on every video.
This one will need a nuke to explode the bank ! ! !
;)
Nope, missed on this one. Seemed too sludgey/fat for Mick.
Exactly! Mick has a very very clear sound, and theirs is sludgey, not to mention that there isn't nearly enough treble
Iron City Rob I agree it’s to fat for mick, mick has a very distinct sound, it’s trebly but not too trebly, it’s just right, but I do agree with you
Ditto. Mick is cleaner than this. Fail.
It's all crunchy muddyness and mick's tone isn't that
JCM 800 is necessary also pyrotechnics are needed.
Make a Sound like Steve Vai! Will be epic!!!
Bruno Azrael Barbosa been asking on pretty much every video,
for the love of god please :D
Marcus Johnson nice pun!
For the love of God is a must do riff for this guy.
James Lewis personally I prefer the Blue Powder intro. I never achieve that tone... I tryed rat, ds1 and other overdriven boxes.
obviously it'll be a JEM JR but if there's none left then it'll be an RG350 and a white one would look good but this is sounds like and not looks like, i doubt they have carvin legacy amps so i'd say Egnater Tweaker 15, Peavey Classic Twin Head & Cab or the immortal DSL40 by Marshall, for FX he has a ton of FX, but i'd say Delay, Reverb, Wah and Maybe a Whammy, i'm imagining for the preview after the intro music of sounds like they might play Tender Surrender for their 1st song either that or the obvious
Hair/glam is its own sound, a very a diverse genre. It isn't given the credit it deserves
hair/glam, only gets shit on because of the looks, never the music, the music fuckin rules. Honestly its just good ol rock music, and the only thing makung it "glam" are the looks.
Don’t like a lot of the vocals either
@@regularjack2 Valid point, i dont agree personally, i enjoy them, but your opinion, i can respect that.
I agree. The riffs and guitar-tones were awesome. The vocals, lyrics and look are, in my opinion, generally the weakest points of the style.
@@Yet_another_placeholder if you listen to bands like Def Leppard I definitely don't think the vocals are the weak point, I love Joe Elliott's voice
sound like motorhead! guitar and bass!!
Good, idea!
step one: jazz bass and any kind of amp.
step two: sansamp pedal
step three: turn the drive on the sansamp all the way up
step four: either you just blew out your amp or you sound fucking awesome.
Not Jazz bass - Rickenbacker. You would need to find a copy and those things are rare.
Forget pedals, get a Marshall guitar head and bass 4x12 then turn the gain up full.
James Lewis well the Rickenbacker's will break the bank as they go upwards of $1000 generally. You can find brand new jazz basses for $600 and in my opinion they sound not all that far off. Geddy Lee even stated that he compared a jazz bass he found in a pawn shop to the Rickenbacker he was using then and said that both sounded rather similar. In fact, compare the bass tone on Tom Sawyer to the bass tone on Limelight. Geddy stated that Tom Sawyer used that pawn shop jazz bass and the rest of Moving Pictures used his Rickenbacker. It's not all that far off at all.
That's why I suggested a Rickenbacker copy. I believe Shine do one but Rickenbacker tend to sue anyone who does similar instruments.
Rabea, the way your friend pronounced Ibanez is actually the correct way as it was originally a spanish maker
Stephen Stobbs was there a tilde over the n though
If you go to Wikipedia, you'll find that it's supposedly pronounced as "Aibanīzu", since it's currently owned by a Japanese company, although the Spanish-sounding "Ibañez" still sounds better than how I usually hear people mispronounce it...
When I was in high school, my neighbor had a Spanish exchange student living with them who's last name was Ibanez. He pronounced it "E-bon-yez". So the way Rabea's friends dad said it was correct.
@@WVXL64 Actually, in Spanish there is no actual "z" sound -- z is pronounced with an "s" sound.
Sound like Lynyrd Skynyd without busting the bank
Or sound like Jason Becker
yup
Didn't sound like Motley Crue :/
it did to me, but the only one that was wrong was Girls Girls Girls cos for some odd reason Rabea had no whammy bar on which made it sound ike shite
sound like coheed and cambria!
"I can't play with Floyds" says the man whose signature guitar comes with a Floyd.
i was thinking the same cos he has a Nuno Bettencourt N4 which has a floyd rose bar
Sarcasm!
"I can't play with Floyds"
Me: oh....ok...
Sound like Van Halen!
Love the tape delay sound 🔊! Great job! 👍
Sound like Brian May / Queen please
Have they not already done that?
Sound like Frank Zappa
Good shout Agent 313, Yeah come on guy's do a sound like Zappa
ROB CHAPMAN DID A SOUND LIKE BRIAN MAY AND DID A GOOD JOB, CHECK IT OUT CAUSE ITS PRETTY GOOD, HE ALSO DID HENDRIX AND MARK TREMONTI IN THE SAME VIDEO
nah it was quite bad
We need a Sounds like Motorhead, it will be Lemmys death aniversarry soon and it would be an appropriate tribute. And of course you have to do guitar and bass! :D
Zvonimir Tomić yesssss
This! EVERYONE should up vote this. RIP Lemmy.
Sorted, and it only took 18 months
Zvonimir Tomić )
Do Larry LeLonde from Primus
It would be awesome but where would you even start? He uses pretty much every kind of guitar and a million effects in each show, never mind all the different eras. Be really cool to see what they could come up, though.
Fraz Man450 Primus sucks
and Les Claypool
sound like Sublime!
Suggestions for Sounds Like:
- The Beatles
- Radiohead
- Primus
- Van Halen
- Avenged Sevenfold
- ZZ Top
- Steve Vai
- Tenacious D
- Def Leppard
Lastly:
- Megadeth
- Rush
Primus would be pretty cool, but it would be better if they did a bass sound like
Andrew Pappas theyve done jimmy page already
+Shannon Swiggart The Royal Blood one they did was bass, that group is just a bassist and drummer
+Blake Vogl I know, I'm talking about Def Leppard
Nice! Alex Lifeson from Rush would be amazing
Tanner Weiland agree the guy is so under rated
Please do the Beatles Next Please!!!!
but with bass!
No not with bass.
Get someone else to help the guitar. There were three guitarists
But only two played guitar at the same time. Usually Paul played bass.
FFFFFUUUUUUAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRKKKKKKKK !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Quality video bruzzies, been waiting for this one !!
Alex Lifeson from Rush
If this wasn't only about guitarists, it would be great to see a cliff burton without busting the bank
Sound like Extreme/Nuno Bettencourt, just to see Bea geek out over his washburn sigs
I think the DSL would have been a much better choice. The Blackstar just didn't cut it
Do a sounds like Ritchie Blackmore
Sound like Prince? he's had some awesome solo tones over the years, songs like "Temptation" and of course "Purple Rain"
Now do Alex Lifeson
Most versatile rig without busting the bank
Well that's easy... Blackstar ID amp with the guitar being some sort of Epi Les Paul or Ibanez with a two humbuckers and a 5 way switch/ coil tap?
Mastodon by Busting the Bank!
Serginho Sena Esses BR é tudo metaleiro hein, pqp
What do you mean?
Serginho Sena I thought you were brazilian because of the name... Sorry
I am Portuguese. Não percebi o que querias dizer. Sim, Mastodon é metal, mas não é assim tão pesado como isso.
O que quer dizer pqp?Sim, calculo que hajam muitos brasileiros metaleiros yah \m/
you guys should do a "sound like dream theater " i imagine that would be quite challenging.
Ritchie Blackmore would be wonderful.
Pearl Jam! Maybe not too challenging, but certainly some iconic sounds to be found!
Sound like Kiss!!!!!! Pls
Luca Cox ibanez iceman for Paul. P-Bass for gene?
Nah, P-Bass would be to boring.
Except if you dipped it in blood or something like that
You misspelled Kyuss. :-)
FOR PAUL JUST GET A MARSHALL AND AN ICEMAN AND HAND IT TO A 8 YEAR OLD WHO NEVER PLAYED BEFORE AND BANG YOU HAVE YOUR PAUL STANLY RIG, BUT THEN AGAIN IT WOULD PROBABLY SOUND TOO GOOD TO SOUND LIKE PAUL SO JUST TIE 1 OF THE KIDS ARMS BEHIND HIS BACK AND THAT SHOULD MAKE HIM FUCK UP AT LEAST HALF OF THE NOTES
+MB215 Gee, you're hilarious. Get a clue.
Great!!! That Mimic was really cool!!!Fat!! Great playing as well!!!!!
Van Halen Next? Pretty Please
Say what you will about Motley Crue, they got some pretty sick riffs. Without further ado, sound like Johnny Marr!
AC/DC BY busting the bank, or Michael Schenker without busting the bank. please :D
Sounds Like AC/DC By Busting The Bank would be good.
Kramer Pacer would of been a budget friendly guitar and the right sound. Please do more 80s bands! George Lynch or John Norum.
Usually you guys nail it very well but this time I felt like it sounded hardly alike. The guitar sound was somehow really dead and boxed instead of that rich, saturated sound I know. I don't know if it's the cheap Ibanez's pickups being a bit dull in the middle/treble but something was wrong. It had a funny growl to it though. Also I wonder if Egnater had served you better with that big tube amp played loud sound.
Yuppi it’s the black star every time they pick the black star hey sound nothing like the artist as opposed to using like dsl40
A sound like Rush or The Aristocrats would be awesome.
I owned a '76 Les Paul Custom that was Mick's, got it off an old tech/roadie of his. It had a super distortion in the bridge.
Also it was wired for volume only, tone knobs weren't wired up.
Is it the black one he used for the US festival?
Probably not, I would think he would of kept that. He had a few black beauties. This one was more of a backup, but had some wear. It was used in the early 80's to mid 80's. Had his name written in the truss rod cavity too. Super distortion in the bridge and standard t-top in the neck, wired for open volume. I should of kept it, the money would come in handy now haha. At 25, a few guitars I should of kept..oh well, part of the trial and errors being young and a insane guitar freak haha.
His black paul is in a diner on display. Not sure where though.
Nick Slayr Music it's in the Hard Rock Care in Florida along with his Shout at the Devil outfit. Saw them in person in 2013
I think you guys missed some of the upper mids Mick uses to really cut through, such an aggressive sound. Once your bass comes in the guitar got a little washed out. Nice effort regardless.
Mudder1310 yea an overdrive pedal needed to be used and to raise the highs, and an ORIGINAL FLOYD ROSE was ... CRÜCIAL !
Would love a Sound like motley crue BY busting the bank! this was awesome as always, but didnt quite get it right. you guys rock keep it up!
Sound like weezer
Really love this series!
I think you got the sound right! You should do a sound like Disturbed without busting the bank
You guys really need to start doing this for bass too, that bass tone was sick!
Sounds like Deep Purple, Jeff Beck, Primus, Free, Rush
I saw them live in 1987. He used a black Kramer with one humbucker and a Floyd Rose trem into Mesa Boogie amps. Great show!
AC/DC by busting the bank!
The only Crue Tone worth chasing is the Shout At The Devil sound Big , Mean , Angry & Nasty !! Best Crue sound period ..
Sound like the guitar greats:
Satch
Vai
Yngwie
Petrucci
Paul Gilbert
JpOctavarium buy a jem buy the Gemini distortion pedal and a black Star club 40 good luck for Steve via
Please do Sound Like Motörhead Without Busting the Bank.
St. Vincent!
So glad they did this I've been waiting for long
Would love to see a Sounds Like of Sleep or Electric Wizard! Need some stoner love on here!
great job guys ... Merry Christmas Matt and Rabea
Avenged Sevenfold! How much longer til it finally happens?!
Awesome attempt guys, you nailed it with some riffs, you got close on some others. I've been waiting on this sounds like, great job
Sound like jhonny marr/ the smiths without busting the bank
Can you guys please do sounds like Gary Clark Jr?
Sound like Nuno Bettencourt!!
DEATH!! SOUNDS LIKE DEATH!! PLEASE DO SOUNDS LIKE DEATH!!
Lol, I think this guy ^ wants a "sounds like DEATH" video.
Hell yeah, who doesn't!?!?!
Been asking for sounding like Chuck Schuldiner for sometime now.
Sounds like Eric Johnson or Joe Bonamassa!
DO A 2021 BY BUSTING THE BANK! ALL THE NEW CRUE FANS WOULD APPRECIATE IT!
could you guys do a band, it's name starts with a R it ends with an adiohead. Thanks
I think it's time to play some vox
Diego E. YES
but which radiohead sound do you want them to do though? theres three guitarists Ed, Jonny, and Thom so there right there are three different tones to sound like already, might i add that that both ed and jonny's pedal boards are extensive and varies from album to album. That brings us to album tones, theres 9 LPs now, and sonically theyre all quite different from each other. How much of all those tones can 1500 pounds worth of gear cover? I feel Bea and Matt might be thinking about doing it, ive seen so many requests for radiohead to be done but im sure they (bea and matt) are having a hard time tryng to figure out how to tackle this, since they are a MASSIVE band with a huge following, they dont want to dissapoint. But i'd love to see this happen, im a huge fan (of both radiohead and andertons haha).
Jonny for Bea and Ed for Matt I guess
Diego E. I think they could...
People forget the "budget" part of these videos. Love this series.
Now do Bon jovi
God, no. Just...no.
I was thinking "Ibanez RG" immediately when "HSH with a Floyd" was brought up.
Dion R same
Sound like George Lynch without busting the bank would be sick
Markel Whitney you kinda have to bust the bank lol
Yes please.
Nice to see you guys finally give Ibanez a shout.
Sound like Rush !!!!
Alex Lifeson please. Though accompanying the guitar on bass will be trickier than in this video.
would love this!
With bass and Geddy Lee style vocals for ultimate pain.
PREACH
I was just about to say this, how haven't they done Rush yet.
Sounds Like:
Pearl Jam
Steel Panther
ZZ Top
Foo Fighters
Deep Purple
Harry Hinchliff steal panther is basically Van Halen and motley crue but porn hub kinda way
Didn't sound like Motley Crue at all. Bass player way too good.
Tilen Marš Fuck YEAH!
Tilen Marš yeah, not enough drugs
hahaha true. To be fair to Nikki Sixx, he did get much, much better, but he still wasn't all that great
It's funny because at the beginning of the video, they says Mick Mars is a great guitar and I laughed out loud. Up until the Girls Girls Girls album he would either solo over a chord or on one string :-( but whatever, he was rock and roll and that what counts! Still love to listen to their music.
nothing like a near death experience to get someone to learn to play.
Sound like Johnny marr !!
How to sound like Sepultura(Beneath the Remains- Chaos A.D. era)
Robin Hansen peavey 6505 and a signature RPR from ltd for max and a js32 Jackson Rhoads with an orange amp for Andreas.
GunsnRosesfan2012 thry were using mesas then and max used bc rich
I think they were using boosted Marshall JCM 800s.
Robin Hansen on arise yes but choas was on mesa triaxis
It would be cool if they did beneath the remains or arise. Those are my fav albums
waiting for this one for a very long time !! mick mars is so underrated as a guitar player... thanx a lot guys for that one !
Sound like Prince pls
How's about Sound Like Brian Setzer?
How to sound like Mick Ronson!!!!
Thanks for this one guys. Pretty good on Kickstart, needed the strat tho
DO A SOUNDS LIKE EDDIE HAZEL/FUNKADELIC
Raul Sanchez oh yes
This is one of the best ones yet!
Please do Deftones
please
I like that you talked about the pedals more than you usually do.
why do i get the feeling that these guys cant stand motley crue? lol
Mister Knight Owl Because you're probably right...
Most of us are in the same boat haha
Riley Young lol the look on his face when he told he needed a floyd rose was priceless.
Dude, the Crue are a great band.
Sure, in between songs.
12:37 Matt: "but does it djent?" lol
Sound Like Queensryche!! That would be sick.
LJ here from Fort Worth Texas like always enjoy your videos keep them coming I'll keep on watching
Sounds like Def Leppard!!!
Mötley Crue is my all time favorite band and you guys got really really close to Mick's sound. I would say 8 or 9 out of 10 good job.
Nice vid the be is awesome
I have to vote for tea party with no limit.. even w/o .
Cheers
Great ! You should include the bass more often, it sounds kick ass together !
