Nice vid. Your kid is so adorable! Made me smile!!! Detroit- ty for noticing we are not the satirical ghetto that they love to share in media and all that. Way more to this city from culture to sports, community, art... Pizza- Buddy's is good, but if you come back check out some of the other spots like Loui's or Niki's. (Also, Chicago style is more of a pie, with a really thick tub of crust. Good in its own way, no doubt).
Hi thanks so much for watching, so we definitely had Niki's on our radar, another Detroit area subscriber told us to go there so we definitely have to try that next time. We also tried bobcat Bonnie's which was pretty good brunch but I get you, the 1st time we went to Detroit we were started getting warned by people to be very careful so it was surprising to see how great the city looked. I think alot of ppl who haven't been there in a while think it's the same Detroit from 30 years ago maybe? I'm not sure tbh
@@jerrivlogs after the emergence of the city post-bankruptcy the downtown and midtown areas changed quite a bit. Mostly for the better, particularly with crime and so on. Not that it was ever terrible in the casino areas, but safer than it was (although Greektown at night saw a handful of gun incidents not too far back). The police have a lot of mobile units that allow them to watch the streets and between that and cameras make it much harder to get away with stupidity down there. As for other spots to eat, this place is a foodie HQ! From crazy good sliders at Green Dot, ridiculous sammies at Roccos, the history of places like Cass Cafe, insanely good gyros at Athens, and of course all the Detroit Coney spots you could ever wish for. lol If you need more suggestions get at me!

We actually got the pass for the Ford museum in Dearborn so we will be heading back to check that out again along with their Greenfield village and we'll try some of those food spots you suggested. Thanks fam !!
@@RGC217 for real though....it's crazy cause I feel like they miss out on so much money by doing that. But i guess they make enough $$$ already to even bother to care..

Yeah MGM sucks by having to go into the casino to access anything! Not like Vegas, no kids and they check I.D.'s walking in.
