We were pretty happy with it ourselves! We had expected to go over, so were pleasantly surprised that we still managed to come in under budget. We did everything we wanted to, and ate out more than we should have. Just goes to show how little you can travel on when you can travel for less than just "living" in the US!
Hope all is well. Unfortunately I don’t do Facebook but would love to hear the haircut story. Hairs one of those things that will grow back if you don’t like the latest trim. You both are looking good. Happy/safe travels wherever the road leads to next!
Thanks guys! We have been thinking about you as we start looking at repositioning cruises again ... would be awesome to be on the same ship as you again! Haircut story went like this ... when we were in Antalya I found a local hairdresser who didn't speak English but seemed to understand what I wanted when I showed her a photo. It didn't turn out quite like the photo, but as you say, it is growing back, and to be honest it's been nice with the heat we've been having here in Turkey!
@@2TravelWithoutOrders Thanks for sharing the story. I had an odd haircut experience myself on Friday (Ted). The hairdresser started cutting my hair with her fingers (like in the game rock, scissors, paper). And after a few minutes started laughing when she realized it. I think maybe she was drunk or something? Gotta find a new place I think. We will be traveling from Barcelona to Fort Lauderdale on the celebrity silhouette in Nov. For what it’s worth. For us, the dates worked with the Thanksgiving holiday (Gotta try and to maximize the vacation days for us working stiffs). I haven’t posted much to RUclips lately myself. We did a couple of things with our son and grand kids this summer, but are reluctant to put pictures of the little kids on line. Thanks again for sharing and letting us live our travel dreams vicariously.
It really is. Makes you really start questioning everything we are told in the US. It is cheaper and certainly has felt safer than the US in every country we have been to so far.
Amazing
Thanks Kim!
Thanks for the information. Very helpful and informative. 🙂
Thank you and look forward to following your channel!
Great result! Especially with all those sightseeing costs.
