Thank you for your video. Absolutely good information especially for some of us who are seriously considering making the move. Thank you so much. Just subd.
I moved to Turkey four years ago, and in the interim, prices have gone through the roof, particularly property prices. What you have to understand, most people in Turkey live in apartments, which is something that's invariably looked down upon in many parts of the world, and priced accordingly. So when anyone gives reference to "Cheap House Prices" in Turkey, it's not actually true. "Houses", in the true sense of the word, cost much more here than in most of Europe, and for the asking price of a "Shabby Apartment" in Antalya, you could buy a very decent "Proper House" in Spain for example.
@@MahnoZain I'm committed to Turkey for many different reasons, and it is what it is, but currently it's way too expensive, and definitely in danger of loosing it's competitive edge.

Yes, spot on. But when my friends tell me Canada has similar grocery prices as Turkiye, much expensive rents and utility costs, it feels like a bit of a consolation. 😅
In Marmaris... Our services of water and power have gone up 150 percent in the last year. A 9kg gas bottle is now 700 Lira... Was 300.....the pazar vegetables are hugely expensive.. The meat is more expensive than anywhere in Europe...

And there are many restaurants in the area too. For fruit market, you'll have to ask around because each area has a different date when the bazaar is set. For example, my bazaar is on Monday. Liman bazaar is on Tuesday. And so on.
Asalamu Alykum brother, First of all, thank you for sharing with us about the beautiful country of Turkey. I have been watching a few videos on RUclips for over two years, and I have fallen in love with the turkey now! I'm planning to visit the country for 3 months starting from the end of this November to February from Canada. If you want to rent an apartment for three months or a year, the tenant must pay all three months' rent in advance. I also heard that not everywhere in Turkey allows foreigners to stay in the country so I wonder how people know the area where foreigners are allowed to live... lastly, which part of the country would you suggest for someone with a budget of 300 -500 USD to rent an apartment. I would sincerely appreciate it if you could provide me with your thoughts on this issue! fuaz
