About Starsector:
» Starsector is an open-world single-player space-combat, roleplaying, exploration, and economic game. You take the role of a space captain seeking fortune and glory however you choose. Nexerelin is a mod to expand Starsector making it into more of a 4X game (explore, expand, exploit, exterminate).

When you were looking for your abadoned storage base:
Dont you find in many games you need a way to take notes in the game to remind you of things?
Stuff stored there.

Im amazed that gaming developers dont look into adding a notes feature. Its like my cell phone. I find it easier to text myself reminders of drs appts, phone numbers, shopping lists

For filling out early fleets, I love to build Wolf Packs. Fly an Apogee myself and sourround it with 9 to 12 Wolfs
From there I usually add more Apogee's, Salvage Rigs, Fuel and Storage
Full on explore and loot :D

You could in theory boost your income at the beginning by turning in AI cores to TriTach, along with your reputation with them. Gamma cores aren't worth much anyway and more will turn up.
Is Nexerelin turning down the drop rate for cores or was it another mod? I forget.

PS: I heard they nerfed Hull Restoration, the chance to remove D mods is lower now. Maybe I'll get the chance to see if it's true in this playthrough.

Its interesting to see chat voting on how you shouldnmove forward but man I grind my teeth at seeing all the orbital station & exploration missions fly by with inefficient fleet picks, still great series

Yup, chat doesn't always make easy or sensible choices, but this isn't a series about min/maxing, so doing the most efficient or sensible choices isn't the goal.

My guess is that at 11:50 Tyrian referred to one of my favorite games from back in the shareware days. Absolutely awesome shooter/RPG in the vein of Super R-Type and those scrolling ship shooters, except this one had a world map, different weapons, ship types and upgrades you could get.

I'm a little late to the party but I've been told the survey data doesn't contain specific details about the places you've looked at, but it does (if you sell it) speed up the colonisation missions.

I just realized you don't use transverse jump to drop into systems bypassing the normal jump points (often guarded). You can do it over any pink spot (planet below it). Any reason not to?

I deleted something called vparams by accident while adding the mod nexarillan and others.
I'll check out this discord. Thanks.
(I reinstalled the game and fixed the problem, but I'm back to square one on Nexerelin)

@@MrJudeWanamaker Gotcha! Installing Nex is just dropping the folder in the mod folder. You don't need to unzip it into mods, just dump the entire unzipped folder, folder included.
