@@AvengingFade it is awesome. If your looking for a fixed blade edc this is the one, it’s not bulky or too big of a knife. I’ve tried 3 different size Esee knives for edc. The Esee 4 was just a little big. I’ve tried some Buck knives. But this Esee is on the nose for a edc fixed blade. I carry that with a SOG folder or a Gerber folder. I’m looking for an even better folder now
I recently got my first ESEE an original Izula & I got the extended scales for it. I’m blown away by this knife, it’s the best edc blade I’ve ever had 👊
Highly recommend the Armatus Carry sheath for this knife. I didnt like the sheath it came with in spite of how much I enjoyed the knife, and their molded kydex made it an absolutely joy to carry.
@@PepeDeezNutz same at 11:00-11:30, just left of my pants button and I tried it vertically on my dominant right side and as neck carry but I keep coming back to the scout. Possibly neck carry in summer.
You saved the tree!! Lol Love this knife. I have EDC'ed this knife for about a month or so and have been sold. I carry a folder everyday and this on my offhand side. Great blade.
No micarta doesn’t acquire any bad smell after years of use, it’s impervious to rot, crack, mold and mildew. To prevent rust on any knife you have to apply a little oil, SS included. I use Ballistol.
You can, but it’s not the best setup in that configuration. There are aftermarket horizontal sheaths which are much better from what I hear, I think Aramis is the one I’ve seen most recommended.
I just got mine today, and I was upset (and feeling kinda dumb bc i didn’t know this already) because it wasn’t set up for scout carry. But I was able to rotate the clip and put 3 of the 4 provided screws in. It is pretty solid, but we’ll see.
Been on the search for an fixed blade edc. It’s been a struggle. Ordering this tonight. I think this is the one. Thanks
I ordered one last night! Lol

I’ve always been a big knife person but since getting a Izula 2 it changed me.I use this knife way more.I carry it as a neck knife kayak fishing too.

This is a great review dude. Summed up all my feelings on the izula 2.
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it!

I’ve seen quite a few people recommend those, I’ll have to give one a try 👍🏻
Awesome review mate! One subscriber added.
Bought one yesterday cant wait to carry/use it
I love this knife and carry it realy often!
What a beautyfull place you´re filming at!!!
Great review!! I have been wanting one for a long time. Finally going to get it thanks for this thorough review.
Thanks for watching, I hope you love yours as much as I have loved mine 🙌🏻
That knife looks brand new. The coating doesn't have a single scratch in it.
The handle is also brand new looking, I've handled my Izula quite a bit and the oils from my hands have darkened the micarta a lot.
You made a good point, it does look new.
One of the fixed blade knives I have considered using as a daily carry.
Quite a few people seem to enjoy it in that application, I find I still prefer a folder for EDC
I EDC the izula 2 horizontally at 12 o’clock

@@richroc7 ok cool
That’s a beautiful spot you got there bud!
Which knife did you switch too?
thanks for the review, enjoyed it :) which is the knife which replaced the IZULA for you?

I tried carrying mine and just found I prefer EDCing folders. It really shines for me outdoors though!
Excellent review! Thank you for your opinion!
Beautiful setting for a video
I keep mine in my truck, it's a little beast.
Great review have mine for about 6 years , beat it up mostly doing remodels great fixed blade
What is your new knife if you don’t mind sharing?
Can this be carried comfortably as a neck knife?
I haven’t tried, the scales seem a little thick to me for that application.
I have & it’s perfect & I have the TKC scales on it. I prefer scout carry because I live in a city & neck carry shows under my shirt.
Thx for the vis! how the rust after using? do micarta smell bad after long use?

I just got my new Izula 2 yesterday, I am incredibly happy with the knife.
Its totally first class in the finish and in the practicality.

Yup with a tech lock
Yes absolutely that’s how I’m most comfortable carrying it.
Great video!
Thanks Dude!
They are a terrific small hunting blade too. Fully bone out and pack out the biggest deer with an izula no problem!
So you replace it with a more expensive knife. Makes sense we do that
That’s how this hobby goes 😂
Some view
Nice background!
Just ordered one in OD, cant wait for it!
Sweet! Hope you love it!
I like mine
I can't handle the full review
They make them in s35vn lol
The jimping hurts his soft hands! Bro, don't tell people that. Lol!!
