- Opeth performing Beneath the Mire live from their 25th Anniversary Tour at the Orpheum Theatre in Los Angeles, CA (Night 1 of 2) on October 24, 2015. This was shot with a Sony Cyber-shot HX50V. Because the stage at the venue is WAY too low and/or the seats aren't on enough of a slope, the sight-lines are terrible. I shouldn't have had such an obstructed view in a seated theater, but that's what I had to deal with.

This has to be the best album they created.
Definitely, and Per Wiberg's best contributions on an album
I think it would be Still life for overall
But this album has the best riff and growl
Thanks for existing, Opeth
Beneath the Mire has long been one of my favorite songs from my favorite album of all time, Ghost Reveries. I looked for live videos, and thought they never played it live! This video is 6 years old, don’t know how I missed it! But please, please, please, never take this video down
They performed all of Ghost Reveries on this tour.
Same here. For me the song is building up to the "wept for solace" part! My favorite!
Amazing version!! Great performance!! Thanks to share!!
Axe looks like hes enjoying playing the song. Martin Lopez was amazing in this album.
Agreed. I don't always like Axe's interpretation of Lopez's stuff live, but he seemed to do a really solid job on this song and Baying from the same show.
I was at this show. One of the best I will ever go to.
Just learned the Mellotron opening. I’m very happy ^^
4:37 Fredrik's movement.
oh boy that solo...
which one? all three are pretty wonderful
Insane how good this song sounds even recorded through a phone
Well this wasn't recorded on a phone.
3:29 Morbid Angel tribute
Epic unison guitar-key solo at 5:26
Fredrik Åkesson Why you change the best fucking solo of the album!? well... still great...
