yes hh works just fine. however that said, there are other builds that get much more out of a hh than this one, for example projectile attack builds (ts, kinetic bolt) or phys spells like ek, bv. if you are worried about defenses (and i get it, i get oneshot by rares quite a lot), i suggest switch shield to aegis aurora (drop one aura and change grace to determination). i'm working on a ci version using aegis, should be much more suitable for juicy content.
Yea, it's true that mageblood makes any build look good, but I'm just addicted to the speed, it makes the game more fast paced and fun. To be fair the build works without mageblood (was farming t16s with 4k wisps, around 20M DPS at 30div budget) but it's not as visually impressive as 60 radius ice nova :)
This is the more expensive version I made after I dropped a mirror, about 120divs+mageblood. But the build can be set up for about 30divs. Other than the mandatory uniques and getting the required resistances / attributes, you need: - 2 T1 accuracy rolls on gloves or rings and unnatural instinct in the slot to cap chance to hit - brittle boots or +flat crit charms to cap chance to crit. Diamond flask and bottled faith helps a lot here. - cdr and attack speed breakpoints: 52% cdr is needed for 10.1 attack speed, but to start lv4 awakened coc is enough for 7.57 attack speed - mana costs, ideally reduce ice nova cost to 0 using inspiration, militant faith (-1% cost per 10 devotion), flask craft and 2 elreon rings. If you have mana issues, use essence sap amulet anoint (careful in no leech maps) or mana flask. Damage will be carried by all the auras and pain attunement, I reckon it will be around 15-20M baseline. However it will be quite squishy so be careful if you aren't perma freezing enemies. Probably a high end desktop
I recommend getting a high clock speed CPU as a priority, helped a lot for me.
