Those tire prices are not bad for quality tires. The life span and comfort will make up for it. Just to put it into perspective, a good set of mountain bike tired costs me $60 to over $100 a tire. Like you said, you get what you pay for. "Buy once..cry once," is the best advice I have gotten. Good video.
I've been having trouble with my ghosts tires for a while now, i kinda just want airless tires and im doin some research. I think for now I'll just get the tubes you recommend and keep looking for airless. I really dont want to spend $145 for new tires :/
Fair enough. What I would tell you though is that the tires are the single most important part of the scooter. Without grip you can’t turn, stop or go anywhere. That doesn’t mean you need big dollar tires, but it’s worth considering.
Are there any brands you recommend? I think another big problem is that 10x2/2.5 tubes are mainly for dollies and other such apparatus that don’t hit great speed or require as much pressure/generate the kind of heat an electric motor driving a tire at sustained speeds produces. A typical 10” tube just doesn’t see this kind of use and the escooter scene is real new.
Make sure the axle is fully seated and not cocked at an angle. Check around the tire bead and make sure the tire is seated properly. Mine wobbles a bit too.
Arg dang it, now I'm confused. I got PMT 10x3.0 tires, which are a little wider than normal Ghost tires, just so I could use Michelin 10x3.0 tubes. I was tired of gambling on crappy tubes and Michelin don't make smaller than 3.0 for 10s. But according to your video I should really not use 3.0 as that would put way too much pressure and may split the rims? On the PMT website these tires are rated at around 33psi (versus 50 with the crappy Apollo stock tires). I wonder if using 33psi instead of 50psi would offset the stress of using a 3.0 tube? Or should I really just not use these Michelin 3.0 tubes I got at all?
Hey Jim! I just got my 1st flat tire (rear) after hitting pothole and I was hoping for some advice. I was wondering if you’re still recommending the 1PZ 10x2 tubes for the Ghost? I’ve been looking online and yeah, the different recommendation tube size is all over the place and it’s becoming a bit frustrating.
your video is confusing as far as the size of the tires and tubes you installed. even you were not sure what you ordered, can you actually show the invoice? but not your private info

Thanks man
Thanks bro ! God Bless ❤
Thanks to you and Merry Christmas!
Great info, thanks brother! I just picked up a ghost today and this might come in handy.
The Apollo ghost looks identical to the dragon raptor
I had the same problem on my 1st back tire. Turned out the threading inside the tire was coming off and abrasing the tubes.
If I still had it I’d check. I didn’t look in the old tire but I did shove my hand in there and feel around for sharp stuff.

Thanks for video. What rim-size do you put on the ghost V2?
I gave the scooter to a friend. I don’t recall.
thanks for sharing!
What pressure are you riding your PMT tires at?
30 psi.
Tubes have MAJOR QUALITY CONTROL issues. I bought high quality tubes to prevent this.

I'm running 10×2.125 tubes on my ghost.
@vicmarc what brand do you use?
Hi I bought these tires after watching this. Tires have a wobble though. Any idea why? Back tire is ok but front wobble is very noticable

Yep, so far the 1PZ 10x2's are the best I've used
@@JimLBon thank you!!
Hey where did you get your hand grip for the apollo ghost??
Pmt tyres where just as much as the crappy ones when I was looking around. So get the best when the price is the same.

I don’t have this anymore. No idea.
