The monster is complete! Looks and rides great! It’s actually kind of amazing to me how much faster it rides vs my other Stumpjumper considering they aren’t different mechanically. Riding position really does make a huge difference in the rider’s ability to produce power.

Can you review the hoodie again?
Trash hunam being he says, but then votes right i bet. Triple worse human multiplier activated😂
Really like the "All around coat", especially paired with their hood. Pricey. Yes. "Buy once cry once"..lol. Would love to own one.
!!!
Another great video and review! I've watched all 3 of your WW All-Around videos and it's some great info. I know you don't recommend sizing, but how does the All-Around jacket fit for you? Are you wearing your normal sizing or did you upsize? I'm getting ready to order one of these and normally wear an XL, but feel like I'm in-between the XL and 2XL given Weatherwools' sizing guideline. I'm 5'11", 240lbs, broad shoulders and arms, workout on the regular, but somewhat build like a farm-boy / linebacker. :) Keep up the videos, they're a good comparison for some of us who can't go try-on Filson or WW before buying.
Try an XL. Don’t wear it out, just wear it around your house a while. If it’s too big you can exchange it for a L. My dad is 5’11” and about your weight. He’s built like a brick shithouse. He can wear anything I can at 6’2.5” and 260. Off topic, but I’m lucky enough to have a dad who is a legend in my mind. I’ve long thought that 5’10”-5’11” is the optimal height as you’re not short but also not so tall as to be annoying. My dad is a beast of a man and has a natural build similar to Mike Tyson when he didn’t weight train.
@@JimLBon perfect info, thanks! Sounds like your dad and myself are built very similarly so this is very helpful. I've spoke to Ralph a couple times and just ordered the All-Around today in XL Lynx. I was a bit concerned on sizing as I had one of their Chore Coats in XL and while it does fit, it was kind of tight in the chest/underarms area when doing anything physical like driving/reaching/etc so I returned it. Plus I could not layer under it at all, only a SS T-shirt type undergarment. I loved the material and looks, just not the fit for me. Fingers crossed I get the AAJ soon and it fits perfectly so Ralph doesn't hear from me again other than how happy I am. :) Side note: if you haven't looked at any of the Heat Straps jackets I'd highly recommend them. They use some really nice Wool that they told me comes f/the same 'maker' that Weatherwool uses. Not to steal anything away f/ Weatherwool, just throwing it out there.
Just one advice. Both wools are "fabrics", wool is the fabric. The correct term between them is "knitted" and "woven".
well said bro. they are a superb product! got my als anorak, wont part with it.
Saw a 30 minute Bonney review...I'm fucking in! Love it Jimbo, keep em coming. 🤟
I appreciate it!
Good review Jim. It's actually hard to explain to people how heavy and substantial the Henley Guide Sweater is. I've never felt another sweater like it. The only two drawbacks I've found, (besides the price) is that it pills and gets snags easily. If someone is buying it for dressing up, you may be disappointed. But if you're buying it purely for warmth, it's pretty unbeatable.
I appreciate all your vids man and this was the first one i clicked on after finishing work today. Ive always preferred hoodies to sweaters, but picked up the black version based on your review. Now just hoping it fits. Cyber monday outlet sale brought the price down to $385, which put it damn near the same price from the other guys review vid from 5 years ago. Cheers man. Keep up the good work
I see that Kyogre. Freaking awesome brother.
Pokemon is the biggest shared interest I have with my son. We play all the time.
Wax the denim yourself.
That absolutely is an option. I have completely waxed four jackets by myself. It’s a tedious, awful process and the end result is never as good as a factory waxed jacket. You do you.
So how do you like it after wearing it??? Is it starting to get a good fade??
It’s a nice shirt.
Appreciate your time and honesty Jim...and...the lack of BS and fluff trying to get likes and followers. I watch a lot of videos on clothing (Empire Wool And Canvas, Weatherwool, and Filson mostly). Packs and bags also, and you are the best kept secret on RUclips.
One other thing, you are used to Weatherwool. Kevin uses mostly military blankets for his wool. He has a way to full and fluff them, but they are scratchier than the Ramboullet (sp) wool that Ralph uses. If I'm wearing wool I always have full sleeve undershirts on so it doesn't matter to me. The price is much less than Weatherwool though.
Sorry about the rambling Jim, but I've done a ton of research on wool and obsess over it as much as Ralph from Weatherwool does. I could talk for hours about it. Just to be clear for other people who read this, when I said Kevin Kinney at Empire Wool started the wool anorak craze, most people associate the first popular wool anorak with Lester River Trading. Kevin designed the anorak that is sold by Lester River. He licenses it to Jason at Lester River to sell. Enough rambling.
Was that a neo- nazi patch on your left shoulder?
No, troll
Have to agree with the tourniquet thoughts. I always have one as well as two packets of quick clot and two chest seals.
Smart man. I hope you never have to use them.
80 for this is a much better value than weatherwool.. I want the AAJ but there's no way it's worth nearly 10x the amount you paid for the dbl mackinaw
If all you do is live an urban lifestyle maybe. Filson hasn’t made a double Mack for a while and a new one will probably cost about the same as a new AAJ. Good luck finding a Double Mack for 80 bucks. I’d still rather have my AAJ and I have yet to find someone who bought a Weatherwool product that didn’t think it was worth every penny.
@JimLBon The idea that anybody working in the woods or ranch would use weatherwool is hilarious im sure there have been buyers who aren't just boomers with too much money or hipsters with daddy's money But idk who would feel comfortable doing anything physical in a 900 jacket vs cheaper alternatives, I saw a double mackinaw for 250 just recently, almost four times cheaper. I have no doubt the weatherwool is an amazing piece though I really want one.
I’m not a boomer and I used 0% of my dad’s money.
@JimLBon So You're a bald hipster that's just as bad. Jk jk
And you’re an ignorant buffoon who hides behind a false and stupid name on the internet. Guess I’d rather be a bald hipster.
Since filming this I’ve had a lot more opportunity to test and compare fitness data. My conclusion is that the Apple algorithm (I use an Apple Watch to track my fitness data) isn’t good at detecting the difference between a bike and an e-bike. I’ll keep accruing data and eventually report back in a separate video.

Finally back! Your reviews murder it, Grade A stuff my friend. Cheers Jim 🤟
The only thing I can afford are the patches, need the link for them.
There’s no link. Etsy.
Totally agree on the political nonsense and the scammers. I'm a retired forester and have owned many Filson products over the past fifty-some years, both wool and waxed tincloth. When I saw the short lined cruiser on Yellowstone I just had to have it. Nothing else captures the same badass look. I picked one up at the Filson flagship store in Seattle and they were nice enough to give me a discount. For the same reason I have a Levis denim trucker jacket; no one else has that same look in a denim jacket.
Very nice video 🍿 😎 📺 Very detailed, good explanation and easy unerstandable 👍 I like Woolpower, espacially in the colder months, too 😊
Stop making excuses. You’re old enough that “no excuses” should be part of your ethos. Get after it. Now, let’s hear about the pants
You’re entitled to your own opinion, but it’s not an excuse. I don’t like tests, I don’t like ranks, and I don’t like authority in general. Belts hold your pants up. It doesn’t matter anyway, I gave up BJJ due to physical injuries. I plan to go back to IMA early next year. In the meantime I’ve been keeping myself busy weight and cardio training. I’ve doubled my bicep curl in a year. Now that’s an accomplishment.
The new Delta 68 is not made the same. Material is thinner and more flimsy. Pockets are more shallow and are not denim. Disappointing.
It’s a cringey ad that never should have seen the light of day, heckuva lot less cringey than selling junky gold-plated watches for $100K and weird macho baseball cards IMO. Back to the topic at hand thank you for these reviews, I just got the tin cloth and denim versions of the short lined cruiser, both are awesome.
There’s plenty of shade to throw around, that’s for sure. I’m just sick of it.
My favorite reviews on the internet. Always informative, and the fact that he doesnt give 2 fu*** is the best! This is classic Jim Bonney. Probably the best ever.
You have terrible taste and are excessively kind!
Well said and another great review dude! Keep them coming. Looking forward to the denim shirt one :)
I’ll put that out next, probably this coming Wednesday or Thursday.
Nice to see a review where you empty it out with all your EDC gear. I’m looking to switch from a Vertx Readypack 3.0 to something more traditional looking but wondered if this could manage the amount of kit I pack into my current bag. Thanks for the insight!
Who makes that jacket Jim?

Great vid thanks for info
No problem 👍
250 6'2 you are always gonna be 51
You’re not wrong. I haven’t made any on screen content in a while but because I’ve been lifting I’m getting even bigger so now 52 is the bare minimum. I wish my gut would disappear faster but I’ll take what I can get.
Looks good though
How much does it weigh?
No idea. Weatherwool has weights on their site for certain sizes.
Great review and I agree about not paying full retail for the Filson shirt... good thing they run sales all the time and that's the only way to get one of their products these days. I do wish Weatherwool had a more consistent 'in stock' product but I understand why they don't.
Couldn't agree more
I love my all arounds. I can wear it in summer (small) in so cal and cold (x-small) winter. I love telling people, its 100% American made and show them the tag.
There are two versions of it. The old one with G-1000 and a newer 'M' one with the lighter G-1000 material. Based on your review, it seems the older one is the better one.
We have the same dimensions, I got a xxl tho
I have the same with filson broad back make arms length shorter and length, so long fits perfect
The Filson is much better looking than the All Around.
Thanks for this video. I bought the olive version recently, since it was on sale! Very happy with it!
Hope you enjoy it!
The Riv Silver shifters are indeed a "copy" of the original Suntour ratcheting friction shifters. Apparently it was common for companies of the time to destroy the tooling when parts were no longer in production and as I understand Grant Petersen personally paid to have this tooling remade so that he could bring them back into production. They're a fantastic piece of engineering and a beautiful nod to a simpler time in cycling.
And a pleasure to use. They cost a lot but I smile every shift!
The pins in the pedal are replaceable
Paint turned out great.
Hey Jim :) Thanks for your videos! I just got the anorak midweight in xl after using your heigth and weight. It is great, a tad short in the sleeves and perfect with 1 thin layer. I am 6 foot 2 inches (188cm) and 240 pounds (108 kg) and I am looking at the CPO denim in charcoal. How was your XL in CPO? I am not sure what to go for L or XL. Planning on wearing it with a t shit under. Thanks from Norway :)
XL, all the way. And hello to my people! My grandmother came here after WW2 with her large Norwegian missionary family. All the best from the US.
When it's windy close to zero, I need to put on a windblocker over the cap. Other than that, it's exceptionally warm.
Good video
Thanks!
I figured out an easy fix for the handle drooping like that. You just need to open the front leather snap tab, lead it through the grab handle and close the snap tab so it pulls the grab handle forward. If you hold it like that for a few days or maybe just even overnight, the handle should readjust itself.
Awesome tip!
Sweet build.
your video is confusing as far as the size of the tires and tubes you installed. even you were not sure what you ordered, can you actually show the invoice? but not your private info
I don’t have this anymore. No idea.
I have the virgin wool version of the weekender. It is very similar to the mile marker. For sure
