A week after getting my watchcap, I bit the bullet and got my AAJ. no regrets there. One thought I had while watching is, what if weatherwool offered a "hotter" and "cooler" cap option with a looser and tighter knit. Down here in San Antonio, it's already too hot for mine but I still love to wear it because it looks amazing. If they had a cooler option I'd be able to wear it further into the year (and start wearing it earlier in the year)
THANKS JIM!! --- You've got a lot more possibilities as a model than I do! --- We appreciate your interest in our products!!! --- Wear in great health! --- Ralph
I use it as my light beanie. I have a heavy alpaca beanie that’s insane but too much if any physical effort is being used. It’s great as a backup for standing around and drinking Bailey’s laced hot chocolate in the snow though.

When it's windy close to zero, I need to put on a windblocker over the cap. Other than that, it's exceptionally warm.

I got the same green/black one awhile back. Probably my favorite winter beanie, I like the wool more than my acrylic ones.

@@JimLBon out of curiosity, who makes the alpaca beanie you’re referring to?
