Ego, comes to mind and the public needs its pound of flesh, never mind whose pound it is. As far as the victim I would think anyone would want the actual perpetrator to have closure to the crime.

I can’t stand Ken Kratz ,just the fact he violated the oath of his job by flirting w a victim he was defending ,and bragging himself up ,say7ng I’m the DA, I’m the one in power,and he lost his position ,his right to be a DA ,,,it seems to me the fact that these Prosecutors who are so hellbent on justice only to turn around and break the law themselves shows how arrogant they are ,shows they are not in this to protect and serve ,but for power and prestige and paycheck ,he sounds like a weasel when he talks ,another case in point ,the prosecution in the West Memphis three case in Arkansas ,Jerry Driver the pervert was hellbent to get Damien Echols and years later got caught embezzling money in a state job in Florida and one other west Memphis three prosecutor broke a law after that case ,,,what’s the saying” why is it the guiltiest ones are always the ones holiaring the loudest and pointing a dirty finger elsewhere “,,,,these are the ones who have no accountability,Hippocrites who are preaching the law but breaking it at the same time ,do as I say not as I do ,,,makes you wonder if they get in these jobs cause they feel inadequate so they look for power and use the job to project their shortcomings on innocent and in these two cases poor people w no education ,no money who are not qualified to speak for themselves ,,,abuse of power , makes me sick 😡that’s why I LOVE Jerry Buting ,he has so much humility and integrity !!
The blood from 1985 that was tampered with and possibly planted in murder case.. should have been tested and compared to his blood at the time. Levels of things change, possibly alcohol or drugs present even sugar levels ... if it was identical to blood found in car and not at time of arrest it would prove it was planted. Dna doesnt change but alot pf other things do.... just saying.
How on earth are you going to establish whether blood was drawn or actively bled at one time based on things like blood sugar level or drug/alcohol content? He could easily manipulate any of those things on a whim, what nonsense.

Too many points indicate that Steven is set up, no one cares, they protect each other, who still believes in American law and who still dares to practice journalism and dares to write genuine articles, who will protect the poor and the homeless. sin?!
