I almost started WOTW first until my buddy told me to play the first one first. Just finished the the blind forest definitive edition and I loved every second of it. I’m so excited to start the second one
That’s awesome lol, I think I played them about a year apart, but it would be awesome to jump right from one to the next! Did you see any footage of the new ARPG the studio is working on? It looks incredible.
@@Shadow-xzz_ I tried to complete everything in both, so it definitely didn’t have to take as long as I did lol. Will of the Wisps clocked in at 22 hours, and I’m not sure how long the first one took, probably a little less? It’s shorter, but it took me longer to figure things out, so I wandered a lot 😅
Thank you. I was looking up best scenic games and out of all of them only 2 games appealed to me and one was the 3rd Ori. I saw the bundle package and got it and wanted to know what I should do first! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!!!
That’s a great deal!! I might have to pick it up on PC at some point. I’ve played on Xbox and Switch…so it’s really only fair that I should play again right?! 😅
😂 easy to do when they didn’t title it “Ori 2” right? lol If you go back and play the first game you’ll probably have a lot of “aha” moments as the lore gets filled in
@@thegameadventure It lacked the combat from wotw lol, but i do like the story of bf, especialy the ending, the kuro's past. Fun fact the ending we got in WOTW was the original ending for BF where the willow would burn and ori would have to become a tree again ;___; good thing they changed it to more of a happy ending, at least one game in the series with a happy ending lmao.
@@thegameadventure These games are full of mysteries! i post cut content that i and other people find on my channel from bouth wotw and bf if ur interested :D
Did you like them? I just beat the second one and now I’m just replaying the first one again, I don’t know how to move on, they’re both such amazing games😭🫶🏻 I think I like the second one more, the combat is 👌🏻
Literally play them in order, there's honestly no reason to question which is first given one came out before the other, and the second one isn't a prequel or anything So just play them in order
Sure! I think I made this video for people who wanted to know if they needed to go back and play the original to get the most out of the second game that’s been so highly acclaimed.
I played ori and the will of the wisps and I didn't even know that there's ori and the blind forest , I'm thinking about playing ori and the will of the wisps again tho; should I play ori & the blind forest or I'll feel like missing some skills and movements since the will of the wisps had more skills and improved movements ?
Really?! It definitely has more abilities to get used to and more complex combat, but I felt more at ease playing will of the wisps. I might have to go back and play the first one again now lol
TLDR: 1st play the blind forest definitive edition, 2nd play will of the wisps 🙂 The blind forest is the first game, and I’d mostly recommend playing them in order. If you’re asking whether to play the standard or definitive edition of the blind forest, I’d recommend the definitive edition for sure. They fixed some minor things and added additional content, and it’s the perfect version of the game.
Wait wait wait, Ori and the Will of the Wisps have a boss fight, and they have a lost of hp on hard, meanwhile on Ori and the Blind Forest, we don't see a boss fight, just a casual platformer (Including hard mode), so I think Ori and the Blind Forest is lot easier

Underrated channel, great video, and now I now that I'll play Blind Forest first! You earned yourself a subscriber!

Answer perfectly the question I was asking to myself, thanks !
Awesome! Glad it was helpful!
Perfect video i was searching for

Grabbed both for $11 for steam deck. Loving blind forest so far

@@thegameadventureI'm finding bashing a bit annoying on mouse but other than that Ori on PC is pre good!
Actually good structure of video. Nice.
Thank you! I really appreciate that.
Glad I found this video lmao I downloaded the 2nd game bcos I thought it was the first game. Thanks man😭
lol you’ll thank yourself for having both later, they’re both fantastic.

They’re both wonderful, and neither game is exceptionally long. Play ‘em both, this is the way.
Totally agree!
I played wotw first, and fell in love with the series.
It’s so good right? How did you feel about the Blind Forrest after playing the sequel?

I tried hollow knight and wanted to try ori since it looks similar to hollow knight and the blind forest was okay not hard not easy was a lot of fun
Hollow Knight is on my “to play” list! How does it compare to Ori?
thanks
Of course!
i disagree. will of the wisps is way harder.

The bosses are of note, in comparison to the first game, in wisps they are FAR harder

From a story perspective it might be fun to kind of fill in the gaps! Kind of like how the Starwars prequels came out after the trilogy lol
I played will of wisps thinking it wa firsy
