@@climbo23 even rebooted exos loose all there memories. He’d be a new person. Not our cayde-6. He even says in the ace mission that if he ever had his final death not to pursue any way to bring him back. I’m surprised we never had a few lore tabs hidden in the deep stone crypt big missed opportunity for bungie right there
This song really kills me the moment the trailer for forsaken was released to us and just seeing cayde standing helpless then it shows uldren who we have t seen since destiny 1 and a gunshot the cutscene in the prison of elders made it worse

Cayde is who he was because he was revived 6 times his personality just built up after he learned if his past
