That last foot or so before it starts rolling again is primer pucker factor. I Just got mine and don't think I will opt to try that any time soon. Good to know its still heavy enough on the rear not to do a head stand. lol
I keep telling people these things are INSANELY capable. For a big ole utility truck, they can outperform almost any vehicle driven today off-road. They’re almost impossible to get stuck. The only downside is when you do get stuck, it takes another one to get you out.
what happens if you roll that thing? would it simply just crush the cab killing its passengers ?? seems like it would with the cab being so tall. impressive hill climb. the truck looks small but I been in one and know they are very big and very cool
My dad is scared of heights, so I always like to pause over drops like that just to freak him out. When all you can see is sky, it tends to make your butt pucker a little. LOL
Lol. Hey I was watching one of your scammer calls and I had to laugh because one time one called me and said my computer had a virus and I kept trying to tell him that if it did I didn't want it anymore and I wanted him to buy it but he kept telling me they didn't buy computers and I kept trying to sell it to him for quite a while.lol
@@NEILSWORLD Ha! Ha! My own favorite was getting a scammer to feel sorry for me because I said I was a former bus driver and lost my job after a DUI..the scammer stopped trying to get anything g out of me when they figured out I had nothing. ;-)
The LMTV is nice, but still prefer the old M35 LOL. The LMTV my national guard unit had never gave us any major issues, but there were some out there that seemed to have electrical problems all the time, the one I drove all the time never did. Very fuel inefficient just as every military vehicle is but the CTIS was a nice upgrade from the old M35. Problem was after driving an M1070 and an M1000 for a while, the LMTV was pretty boring LOL. Miss the M1A1 Abrams (my first MOS was a 19K). So I got to occasionally drive the Super HET (M1070) and the M1000 is the bad boy of transport trailers.
Throttle ? does LMTV have a manual or alternate throttle that can be "set"? I drove a farm truck with a knob throttle. Pull it out to desired position and throttle was constant. Really helps on Rough ground, no foot movement. We would set the throttle and then get out to load straw as the truck drove down the field. So just above idle. Early version of self driving.
It does have a hand throttle that will stay where you set it but I wouldn't have wanted to do that over the topsoil pile. It does not have a suspension seat and I didn't find that I was bouncing the throttle. The Mitsubishi I used to have had such a low gear I could get out of it and walk around it. ruclips.net/video/2b63IL8hoH0/видео.html
Love the view from inside the cab, while you were going down the hill. Looks surreal. Thanks for posting!
I’m not gonna lie, I puckered a little just watching you do that! Can’t believe it cleared that decent!
Lol, thanks for watching!!
I’m getting mine out of the shop on Monday 10/16/23! Can’t wait to take her out!!
Great production value! Loved the multiple angles!
Glad you enjoyed it!
Holy snap dude, you are a friggin' nut! That was awesome!
Next summer you should give it a go.🤪
@@NEILSWORLD Sure thing, can I borrow your truck? : )
If you don't want to use yours you can use mine. It's a good confidence builder.👍
I’ve always liked theses trucks
Yo!! That’s so awesome!! I need to do this with my truck!! That’s insane!

Where is your ACH and TC!!? 😂 love the video brother

Love this!
Probably the only good off road LMTV video out there

Definitely takes a little getting used to. 👍
Loved the QR code by the way, thats pretty clever!
I'll bet that first time over the hill made you suck your shorts up.....
Thanks, I get asked a lot what the QR code is for. I'm surprised how many people aren't familiar with them. The first time is the worst. 😆
@@NEILSWORLD Its funny when you see people try taking pictures of the code, only to have it auto launch on them. ;-)

Yeah I've driven my uncles m1070 on the road and you do have to pay attention 😆. He also has the m1000 trailer and looking for a tank. 👍
What are the clunking noises from?
The side panels on the body flop around and there's a shovel in the back that slides forward when I go down the hill.

Do you have any Detroit style locker installed?
No
Cool!
Well done
I see I'm not the only one who puckered...
😎👍
Going down had to feel spooky as shit
The part that takes getting used to is just before you go over the top and all you're looking at is sky and you can't see the ground in front of you.
..... No cup holder??.... How do you hold your coffee??... Add that accessory and these trucks will sell like hot cakes 👍😬
My truck has cup holders!!
First
I never thought to shift down into first.
