I had a pair of Puma shoes with a really narrow toe box. They cost only $20, but they were heeeeaaaven to walk in! They had no arch support, but had memory foam along the whole foot. Loved them and wore them till they had holes under the soles and at thee heel!
@notmyrealname6272 Thanks 😊 I think it's just a natural thing. I've been lucky to never get bunions from anything because my feet are so narrow that there's nothing to "shape". Instead my feet suffered from getting blisters easily - every time I got new shoes (except these Pumas!) X)
Weirdly enough I have quite large feet (those sandals with 200 straps along the foot have been my literal nightmare since I'm 12) and I've been loving the sambas. I think it's because they're quite flexible and close to the ground, so I don't feel like I'm restricted in the articulation of my feet, which is rare with other sneakers (Adidas especially) But I guess we all have a different foot shape haha
I don’t wear mine for fitness - style only. For that purpose, I find them very comfortable. Some advice from an older and possibly wiser woman who has taught on hard tiled floors for 30 years - it is very easy to rip out the insoles of many shoes and put in your own orthotics for arch support. I replaced the ones in my Sambas.
Shin splins happen due to change in elevation or “mm” of the shoe. Which means you’re used to more cushioning or heel/height in your shoes. The fault isn’t in the shoe but your adaption process😊
Personally, I've found barefoot shoes the best for walking longer distances. First of all because they are comfy. Secondly because they are light weight. Thirdly because my hips, ankles and knees like them. I have a few pairs collected over the years that I walk, run and strength train in. For starters I'd recommend the Vivofoot Primus Lite III. (I personally didn't like the excess fabric of the knit versions).
I adore my sambas but I have very flat narrow feet I’m talking planks of wood with no arch. So they are the most comfortable. Also can’t believe I’m saying this because don’t want them to sell out 😂 but I bought a pair from OYSHO, collaboration with Vibram . Best. Trainers. Ever.
Pretty please try reviewing some altras, on running, hokas, and the American made new balances if you haven’t already. Been curious about those and your perspective.
I’ve walked 50,000 steps for 3 days while in Tokyo, they were brand new and no blisters I still wear them everytime I travel, probably have to clean them at this point 😅
Are they good for weight training though? I tried it couple of time doing dumbbell training and I think they work well for me. But still, curious about your opinion!
Nike Air Max 95!!! Used to work in restaurants and bars and wear them for 12 hour shifts, never got any blisters and they kept my feet from hurting for a very long time!
Please, carefully, try a barefoot style shoe! Like lems or xero or coco shoes. The main idea with these shoes is that they a foot shaped (so no tapered toe and no to squeezing) no heel drop and minimal cushioning they are also typically extremely flexible to allow your foot to have normal movement. I used to get shin splints all the time (like to the point of stress fractures an tears) by slowly transitioning to barefoot style shoes I no longe they shin splints. I used the lems primal since they have more cushioning than a typical barefoot shoe and not as flexible. If you’re running on concrete a lot and arnt used to that I recommend those I have also heard good things about already as a barefoot style adjacent shoe.
Yes finally someone who agrees with me 😂 I tried the knockoff versions AKA the VL Court by Adidas and as soon as I put them on I was like “there’s absolutely no support in these” mind you I tried on the kids size and women and the kids ones were even worse, felt like I wasn’t wearing anything. Definitely agree they’re fashionable but imma stick to my New Balance 530s as they are sooooooo comfortable!
i would die testing new shoes like this, ever since i was like 5 i would get blisters every single time i get new shoes just from like walking to the grocery store
Sambas work for me because i have very narrow feet. I could totally see why these shoes are not for everyone. Also the ADV are way better than the classics.
I have similar jeans like that from old navy! I did have to hem them though because I’m short (5’0”) but they’re some of my faves. I like the Levi’s Ribcage ankle ones too but they’re ankle length.
I love the look but find them so uncomfortable. There’s no way I could do anywhere near 10k steps in them. I like the XLG version or the ones with the long tongues better.
Cme info isnt on my local news. This is the first time I've heard about this. When i waa in Yellowstone two tears ago. Mary reported they had an earthquake 3. Something and the steam was like this. It could be because of the earthquake??
Depends on foot shape. The toe box is way narrow.

@@lollsazz jealous I’d love tk have feet/knees that could manage shoes like that! Awesome.

I have narrow feet, so maybe that’s why I love my Sambas. They actually fit me 😂

I need way more arch support than sambas lol
Totally. Gazelles plus a Birkenstock ‘active’ insole is perfect combo for me.
These shoes ripped the back of my ankles TWICE! They healed and then ripped again the second time I gave these a go!
try breaking the back in
yes they gave me big huge blisters on the back of my ankles too. blood got on the shoes i had to clean them, but after that i’ve been fine
Damn you tried them again? 😂
I'm more impressed how it's still clean after a few days.
Shin splints from walking is wild 😭
You should try Chuck 70 converse!
Try Vejas next!! Love those & never got a blister
Try the Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66. Those are proper shoes, comfortable, fashionable and don't hurt you at all.
They are specially made for indoor soccer. I wear them as a sneaker, but be mindful that the sole has no padding, because of their origin.
Best series ever , I'm always looking for cute walking shoes that won't kill my feet.. I walk 15-20k a day

Beautiful Keltie 😮
I returned mine, stylish but extremely uncomfortable
Same
I love this video idea Keltie!! Please make it a series :) my request would be the adidas hyperturf
i walk on them every day and i walked in them the whole last two days on a city trip and i was fine, they really fit my feet so nicely
when i was in nyc for 7 days i walked 10+ miles everyday and they were comfy and brand new not broken in
The Adidas Superstars felt way more comfortable to me!

Try Altras! I have the Torin 7s and I love them!

Pretty please try reviewing some altras, on running, hokas, and the American made new balances if you haven’t already. Been curious about those and your perspective.
This is crazy. Adidas sneakers for walking are simply the most comfy I have ever worn.
Love this one, Keltie!❤

Would love to see you try Salomon sneakers! ❤

Nike Air Max 95!!! Used to work in restaurants and bars and wear them for 12 hour shifts, never got any blisters and they kept my feet from hurting for a very long time!

I heard of barefoot shoes but mostly through the vivo brand. I hadn't heard of those brands before.
What type of arch do you have? I have intermediate high arches, and I get shin splits. It's annoying.
Can we just talk about the KPop dancing???
North face runners, Amazing
I didnt' even know such thing exist! Thank you! looking into it
U should try blazers because they are for outfits and thwr sparty belive me i took a figure skating off ice class 3 times a week and no blisters
Nylon reebok classic are comfy 😌
Earth runners. Life changing
For me it’s the right foot, really uncomfortable somehow on the bridge area
A 990 New Balance model made in the USA or UK is the perfect every day shoe.
i would die testing new shoes like this, ever since i was like 5 i would get blisters every single time i get new shoes just from like walking to the grocery store
You should try Nike dunks
I have very difficult feet (bunions, flat feet, over pronation) and find sambas to be my most comfortable walking shoe… so I guess it’s foot specific
You should try Onisutka Tigers! 👟
I WANT TO!! They dont ship to canada, so I'm trying to find a loop hole!
girl you have to try out salomon xt-6!!
I get blisters with most shoes, even my black and white sambas, but not the softer white and blue ones!
Try adidas SL2 running shoes but cute too.
Converse pleaseeee
Ooh i like this experiment
I play football so these are perfect for me everyone’s different tho
try the slip on vans!!!
Try ONITSUKA shoes. They are comfy. Never get shins wearing it
Omg Keltie… my shoe choice could be the culprit for chronic shin splints?!!
YES
@@millag93 😭😭😭
Try Old skool vans
Sambas work for me because i have very narrow feet. I could totally see why these shoes are not for everyone. Also the ADV are way better than the classics.
Next one should be the Asics EX89
Please do kiziks? They're the step-in shoes, no tying and bending down.
having super flat feet means never choosing cute over practical :(
Shin splints from walking?! And that coming from a pretty light runner?!
please try onitsuka tigers they are so comfy
How do you get shin splints from walking???
I love my Vans too much to give them up! Ps, ID on those wide leg black jeans in the beginning?! Sooo cute!
I have similar jeans like that from old navy! I did have to hem them though because I’m short (5’0”) but they’re some of my faves. I like the Levi’s Ribcage ankle ones too but they’re ankle length.
My uncle used to get shin splints real bad too. And it does look like you have my uncle's knees. So there's that.
Try the Alo sneakers!
Try the campus ones
I hated them at first and loved them later. ❤
Interesting that you didn’t experience any blisters… I put mine on and I’m feeling a blister start in the first 10 seconds
If you want a great walking shoe put on something with a proper anatomical toe box like strike mvmt or flux instead of all these.
I returned them as soon as I got them. They were so blah in person and hard as a rock. Not at all comfortable!
Lacoste carnaby please!
Get a pair of LEMS, they’re supposed to be the natural shape of your foot. Been the most comfortable shoe I’ve gotten
Sambas are a waste of money! The style is great but damn the shoe is so uncomfortable😫
Sambas are the worsttt for ankle blisters 😅
what socks do you wear??🫶🏻
I live in London and walk 20k steps a day in my sambas
Try barefoot shoes! Please make them popular, they look silly but man are they awesome!
I love the look but find them so uncomfortable. There’s no way I could do anywhere near 10k steps in them. I like the XLG version or the ones with the long tongues better.
I am curios about Adidas Gazelle.
Adidas shoes always make my legs hurt. They’re cute but never practical for me in the long run.
Vans please
I love my Vejas , test those out
What about trying barefoot shoes?
Onitsuka Tiger shoes!!!
I wish these shipped to Canada! I hope I can find a way!
omg does anyone know where the black shirt is from in the first clip?
Nike Electric Pack?
Birkenstock bend low!!!!!
Reebok club c are the comfiest shoes ever
Nike winflo please 😊 I'm looking for good walking shoes
Please don’t wear outside shoes in a dance studio. Hope you washed the bottoms first 🤞
