Yes, and that creepy moaning wall has something to do with Erika (or a number of other options)! I'm surprised I haven't seen a NV themed horror game yet.
You know, I want Arin to keep assaulting Dan with these random weird games, but then out of nowhere with the same amount of warning, he starts a popular game but one Dan doesn't know and so he's just waiting for things to go down.
Dude, the way Arin walks right out into the open when peeking around corners, or takes his eyes off the chicken he's following to stare at this really cool wall for several seconds gives me mad anxiety.
Interestingly, Arin isn’t too far off with his mandala effect note regarding the Rock’s catchphrase. It’s true that The Rock always said “if you smell…” after his speeches, but if you listen to his old theme song when he switched from the nation of domination theme officially into “The Rock”, his voice can be heard at the beginning of the music saying “do you smell what The Rock is cooking?” It’s likely on RUclips, as well. Interesting note xD
One thing I really like about the open house game is that it keeps going on and adding different types of horror concepts, but it DOESN’T feel like it’s just trying to pad for time or it’s trying too hard to scare you. Every new thing you go through feels natural and flows well. It all fits together in the end. It’s genuinely creepy too.
Arin had 99 Chicken Feet problems but being terminated from his nightly cleaning / pig ordering duties after mistakenly ordering a number of pigs that was not the 98 pigs that was expressly recommended was not one of them.
I love how the House Party house is like one of those houses that gets photographed a lot for establishing shots in movies.. or it'll be some weird artistic-looking museum building used to represent a bunch of stuff in scifi
I love how Arin watches a character put a gun to his head followed by a gunshot and his conclusion like 2 minutes later is "oooh because he was the only survivor"
Can you imagine how unsettling it would be in real life if you went to view a house and there was a person standing silently in a closet with the door opened just a crack staring at you ?
Love that they played The Open House, it’s such a funny game even if it’s unintentional. Plus it being the the House Party house is perfect for the boys.
I have a theory about the House Party house and the reason games are using it, and this realtor game actually made me think of it. I believe it might be the perfect house. All the rooms downstairs are connected in some way and it’s surprisingly easy to move around. The half bath is located right in the center of all 4 rooms(including the entryway, not including the garage). The master bedroom is right at the top of the stairs and is the quickest to get to, and the master bedroom is usually above the garage, the quietest part of the first floor(most of the time). The hallways have non square corners which smooths out the walls and makes the hallway feel bigger than it is, with an added benefit of having diagonal storage closets to maximize space and declutter the hallway from most container furniture like wardrobes. The other bedrooms are non square in nature which can ease up claustrophobia by making the room less boxlike and more flowy. The upstairs hallway bath has a window directly across the door, over the bath, which actually makes the surround room harder to see in the right light, making a feeling like it’s safer than the other rooms in terms of privacy. Unfortunately I don’t remember the master bath, but going back to the hallway for one last note, the top of the stairs has a balcony looking over the front door which can add an air of security, knowing that there’s a large area upstairs where you can see your front door. Of course this is just my view, as I really do like the floor plan of the house and would love my house that way. It’s oddly, homely and familiar. Like I’ve always lived there.
