Beautiful video and thank you for sharing your families story with us. You're an inspiration as parents as well as a family and business owners. I'm a father of three with another boy coming mid April. We just had our 27 week scans today and thankfully our boy is doing well. You guys have such strength to survive this loss and still live life without bitterness and hate...I don't think could do that if I lost one of my children. I haven't yet had the pleasure of doing business with Josh but hopefully soon I will. Moneynis tight for us down here in Australia, especially with three kids, a mortgage, bills etc and me trying hard to restore three Jeeps for my kids and two Dodge WC-51 Weapons Carriers because I just couldn't stand to see them rot into the ground. Hopefully soon I can get some helmets from you for my kids so they can look the part when we go to this year's Military Jeep Club of Queensland swap meet. Keep doing what your doing guys....we're silently watching from the sidelines and thinking...."I wish I could be that brave".
Fantastic Awesome Video, very interesting to watch you guys and such a loving Family, Tears rolled down my face as I watched your video so, thank you so much for sharing your Awesome story thank you, oh I also Collect M1 Helmets too
I got into the helmet scene about the same time as Josh and over the years I’ve had a few helmets from him, both original and repro. He’s one of the nicest people in the helmet community.
Nice! SPR got me started as well, but I was only 11. I bought out a local Kentucky ROTC units m1s helmets when they went to Kevlars. It's a Josh thing ❤️
I really appreciate the help you gave me and all the parts I got from you! I will be getting more parts and I need another M1 Liner! Thanks For Being You! Joe from out in Arizona! P.S. Great Program and Family!
so, as if m1s werent awesome enough, you could say m1s saved your family. that, and integrity, hard work, and passion of course. god bless AMERICA! i understand what youre family is going through. a little over a year ago i lost my grandmother 9 days after her 106th birthday. so now i have more time, too much time, on my hands. i havent really reset as far as purpose. anyway. stay strong. and thank you for sharing your truly american success story.

Wow. What can I say. This Honestly gave me goosebumps. Thank you for this insight into your business but more importantly your family. Keep doing what your doing looking forward to buying a few bits from you in the future. Love from the UK 🇬🇧
When I left civil war and was looking around for the new thing. So, I found WW2 and getting into it I found all the steel pots had all kinds of dents. And I started trying to do something about it. I found a way to get the dents out and was covered up in guy's steel pots. I had to stop. Now I tell guy's to get a good one from you and sell the old one on the bay. I had a front seam fixed bail I wore for 15 years. Guy's would try to buy it every event. I finely traded for a carbine just to get them to shout up. I'll stop by if your at "Conny" this year.
The picture at .03 seconds looks like the pile of m1 helmets at Smith and Edward's I used to pick WWII helmets out of. Robin Bartel has an original MP fixed bail helmet that I found in there along with several others and an original m2 helmet. I was buying them for 50 cents a pot or $50 per pallet load!!!
I orderd a liner kit from you guys and hot damn its fabulous like 100% will buy from you again (I need to get mid war chinstraps next) to finish my m1 I will buy from you again for all my m1 helmet items
What got me interested in collecting military equipment was my family's connection to the military from WWI through to the Iraq war. Along with both of my grandfathers being GI's during WWII and my great uncles being soldiers my uncles and my father being soldiers and both of my brothers being soldiers during post 9/11 and my Great Grandfather being a soldier in WWI.
My grandfather was greatly affected during the war as he survived the Normandy landings and was under constant air attacks by Stuka's during the battle of the Bulge and survived Kamakazi attacks on the fleet he was assigned to during the Battle of Okinawa while waiting for the Marines to secure the first air field so his unit could hit the beach and begin rebuilding the airfield.
I just caught this terrible disease.. its horrible.. My wife has had a terrible time helping me control my disease to the collecting M1 army helmets. I am addicted to them because each one tells its own story or has its own story
Man, was I not expecting to cry from learning about a helmet company!
