I almost started drooling when the video started and I saw all those M1's stacked on the shelves.
He has over 2 thousand i think
Thank you for this tutorial, much appreciated! I do not leave comments very much but, in this case, it's the least I could do ;) It was a bit precarious for me the first few tries, but I finally got the net onto the helmet! Would never have been able to do this without your guidance, and thanks again for it! BTW - Whoa! Look at all those lids back there! I'm envious ;)
Thanks a lot, just did mine on my repro helmet and net from atthefront and this helped a ton! Keeping the drawstring like you said it seems pivotal (only took me 3 rewatchings to figure that out). Where have I experienced this frustration before? *fitted sheets flashbacks
I bought a reproduction helmet net can’t wait to use these tips to cover my helmet.
Nice vid. Very clear explanation / demo. Thanks!
Very cool video. Thanks for taking the time to show this simple but somewhat difficult operation outfitting the helmet.
What a YUGE help! Thanks for your expertise!
THANK GOODNESS I FOUND YOUR CCHANNEL. EVER SINCE I WAS A KID I LOVED THE M1. JOHN WAYNE DID IT ALL. The Sands of Wii Jima. The longest Day. That was it ! I was hooked.👍🇺🇸
Hey Josh!! Good to see you back with some videos.
Tôi là người Việt Nam rất thích kỹ vật chiến tranh xưa ❤❤❤❤

This helped me immensely sir! My deepest thanks!
Great video, Josh. Hope to see more on your RUclips!
Thanks! We're gonna work through netting 1st as it is routinely requested 😃
I loved the litle trick he did with the liner before putting it inot the helmet.
Thank you very much. This video helped me a lot. God bless.
Yay finally a new vid
Hi Josh, great video. Most helpful.
Thank you.
Hey! Can you do a video on how to put the paratrooper chinstrap on?
Greetings from Montréal, Québec, Canada !!! Thinking about buying a reproduction M1 helmet as a motorbike protection !!! Cheers !!!
Can you do a install video of the 1/4 inch British net on a M1 helmet
I got helmet dated 1944 thru 1945 made by McCord so I buy replica liner and net liner fits but the net makes the liner pop out alot so I used what I got from the surplus store site witch game me the helment and post vieitnam liner luckily I found a cover dated 1983 woodland and I been wherein my helmet where ever I go
Thanks Josh
Thank you for sharing. I'm curious if the US Army During WWII also use British Brody netting on the M1's as well? I thought I read that somewhere.
Nice, good video
Wish I had seen this when I put my Brit helmet net on my M2 paratrooper helmet. Lol
Great video, I did miss some Grateful dead in the background though.
You're not lying man! Copyright police gonna catch ya though 😏

can this be done to a type 90 japanese helemt
A friend of mine recently bought a Khaki Net from At The Front and his net was considerably larger and was having issues. I pulled out my helmet with the same net that I bought 10 years ago from them and pulled it off to demonstrate for him. Both nets are considerably larger and don't need any stretching and we both end up with a lot of extra material that makes it hard for the liner to fit properly. Are we doing something wrong or is this an issue with the Khaki nets?
in normandy many british nets were brown,
Price sir?
Can you do a video on your shrimp net. I have a very hard time getting it installed
Shrimp nets can be tricky! I’ve found it best to get an elevator or thick rubber band to hold the net in place while stretching it over the helmet
I second this idea
Ok, what's the easiest way to do the leather chin strap!? Lol
