Sooooo two things 1) it has mloc on the side and 2) out of darts has a scar barrel that just locks on and I love it
Honestly it’s not a bad look
The trion also takes katana mags, and on the slam fire thing, when you pull the trigger and "activate" the slam fire function, if you pull the foregrip back just a bit, you can deactivate the slamfire function.
I got it for 49 bucks on Amazon and then got an extra mag and half 100 half darts to make a 92 dollar total! So happy.

I'm definitely putting the Trion through the paces, over 2k shots fired with stock internals and 2 spacers. Doesn't seem to be faltering yet!

If you have any issue please call customer support. They'll send a replacement if you're not happy. We get so few returns it's hard to debug any production issues there are.

@@josephanderson829 is it not firing when you pull the trigger. Mine did that. There is an easy fix on a channel BotsNBlasters if you feel comfortable opening it up.
Trading in my Tomcat after two years of service for this. By comparison, the Tomcat prime is like cutting a Tomato. Trion prime is like cutting a crispy celery stick. 👌🏻 So much better. And no shell creak.😌
I'd be interested to see what a more powerful spring would do that compresses all the way with the available prime stroke already given, no spacers. Sounds pretty reasonable for cost. Might pick up one for funsies one weekend to see what the insides look like.

It’s a shame the only thing they didn’t include was storage for the spring spacers when not being used
We have a 3D printable pistol grip that stores spacers on thingiverse if that helps.
Magpul moe+ has room in the grip for both spacers.

You're asking for too much buddy. This is 80 dollars is already worth my money and their time. Something so niche can be stored using pockets or you make it yourself.
You can put the spacers in the stock itself
We found out the Trion can also use DZ/AF PRO/Max magazines.
I know this vid is older.....but, it will take a worker swift spring. The Swift spring is quite a bit longer but works and feels like a harder pop, and you can still use the spring spacers as well. I have no chronograph so i have no fips. I do have a scar barrel on it as well. Just maybe something you ould tinker with.

I tried this thing at foam con and it really impressed me. I really like the look of it. Reminds me of a budget lynx if you can’t 3d print. If you can 3d print it May only be a little cheaper

I've been storing the spring spacers in the stock. Just drop them in, and put the stock back on.
I'm happy you like the trion as you said for the price point there's nothing better you can buy in my opinion, i owned a nexus pro before hand and I can easily say that the trion is better in every way and I think its better than the upcoming dart zone pro mk4 mainly because the dog bone/skinny pusher works with the talon mags were as the mk4 dosent in terms of letting you take the magazine out without having to prime it back first because as dart zone said on their live stream about it, talon mags do fit as do previous dart zone pro mags but only the two new style magazines that come with it will work fully with the skinny pusher.
Weird it doesn't have a scar like the gameface prime. Wish that dartzone would have just made their version of talon mag that was fully compatible like gameface
I had a chance to chat with one of their guys at Endwar and briefly play with it. He mentioned they were trying to get a scar to attach to the front but in the end ran out of time to implement that before production started. Was a really down to earth dude and I wish the blasters would be a bit easier to get over in the EU (blaster time helps though ;) ).

Ive been wanting to replace my nexus for a little bit and the group i play with does 150 fps and 250 fps rounds. Most i get out of my nexus is 175 with the OOD spacer. Plus the nexus prime slop is pretty annoying.

Very nice review….would love a Trion but I’ll be paying around $200 in Australia for it once it’s in stock
The only things I don’t like about it are that you can’t do a tooless takedown and white plastic yellows over time and paint scratches off. Idk how much self etching paint might weaken the plastic but it’s never the less on my mind.
I’m leaning towards the unicorn over this and I intend to dye the unicorn some sort of blue or purple but ideally I’d get both. Hoping it’s not too hard to get a non slotted Pt For the unicorn meanwhile.
I’m glad this thing doesn’t creak like the CEDA and Prime but I did like the look of the prime a bit better than this

Have you considered adding bottles to your 50 and 75 targets? Not practical, but it might be fun for anything with a proton pack
