    Once again, a top vid Ricky. Interesting setup with your float and flyscreen rubber combo. Good to watch your cookup. Caught seven drummer mid 30s last Saturday and kept 3 for the table - came up a treat! This year down Wollongong way could be a good year for drummer as they seem to be coming on the chew earlier. Expecting a couple of good vids on big drummer from you this winter. BTW is the 58cm model in one of your vids your PB?

      @stickyfishyfishing  6 лет назад

      Frank Saunders thanks mate good see you getting a few drummer mate yeah mite start doing a bit of drummer fishing myself soon good fun to catch
      Nah mate I've caught bigger ones then that when i was younger but back then i never use to get a measure ment on them but probably around 65 - 70 cm mark
      But that day i got that 58cm one i lost one at the rocks bigger but didn't put in video cause i wasn't to happy about it would've needed language warning lol 😂 👍

    • @stickyfishyfishing

    What size float do you recommend? Small (18cm), medium (25cm), or large (30cm)?
    Thanks.

    • @stickyfishyfishing
      @stickyfishyfishing  6 лет назад

      Nick Smith if you fishing in the estuary with clam water the small one but if your fishing off the ocean rocks tne big one mate
      But you could use the big one in both areas i use the same float off the rocks as i use in the bay off the rocks i have it waited about a centermeter above the froam or cork in the bay i add a little more weight just so about 2 inchs of float is sticking out of water 👍

    Hey mate, interested in how you made your float..
    Also too what are you filming with?

    • @stickyfishyfishing
      @stickyfishyfishing  5 лет назад +1

      Hey made it with dowel wood stem and the float bit is balsa wood square block or round will work just cut stem to size you wont then stick it in the balsa block cut to size you need glue it to stem where you need it then shape the float to the shape you like put some eye for your line to go through use strong wire to make them them bind it on the stem put some glue over it then paint it
      Buy dowel stem and basla at bunnings or a craft shop
      But should be some videos on RUclips how to make luderick or blackfish float mate
      I use a gopro hero 3
      Cheers 👍

    South Australia luderick don’t feed on sea cabbage ? I try your method fishing luderick today. Sea cabbage is bait. But luderick doesn’t seem interested in my baits. They just swim around and leave Can u tell me why?

    • @stickyfishyfishing
      @stickyfishyfishing  5 лет назад

      Not sure why they don't eat it down that way maybe they eat the long string weed all find out what the locals use to catch them
      All there mite not be feeding sometimes if you can see them they won't eat it happens here too
      Where fishing the ocean rocks or estuary?

    • @JjjShin-tu5cf
      @JjjShin-tu5cf 5 лет назад +1

      Fishing on ocean rock : on local boat ramp . The south Australia luderick doesn’t have black strip on their body. They look more like bream Maybe different species, I don’t know

    • @stickyfishyfishing
      @stickyfishyfishing  5 лет назад +1

      Yeah ok probably not luderick if they don't have strip mate mite be
      Black bream or something else try some peeled cooked or raw prawn on some 6lb line see if they eat that mite have to ask some local fisherman what kind of fish they are 👍
