- What started as an experimental study and a demonstration of BUGATTI’s technological expertise becomes closer to reality. With its incredible weight-to-power ratio, driving the BOLIDE will evoke similar sensations to being on a cannonball ride.
BUGATTI’s expert engineers are currently fine tuning the BOLIDE’s aerodynamic capabilities in high-speed dynamic testing at a disused airbase. The BOLIDE can accelerate up to 1.6g - a feat that is unrivalled in the automotive world and more akin to the power and performance of a passenger plane.
With the BOLIDE being pushed to higher speeds again and again during testing, the car’s optimum stability in every condition is being honed and perfected, as is the overall strength and stamina of its components and subsystems. Only by subjecting the BOLIDE to these extreme forces can BUGATTI engineers ensure a unique driving experience is realized for the 40 future BOLIDE owners.

This is what I imagined when they first announced a new Hypercar class for Le Mans. This actually looks like those futuristic concepts I remember when I was a kid in the 90s. Possibly the best looking modern race car ever!
The moment I saw it my mind went like:
This better end up racing at LeMans. Honestly they should run something inspired by the Bolide.

I see new changes in the bolide, it has new fenders, New dive planes, new and larger roof intake, and new rear view mirrors, ( all of this in 0:41) and also I think the back of the car like the exhaust were redesinged, years ago, exactly in 2020, the bolide has 4 circular exhausts and now the are like a 2 “U” for the under part and another 2 “U” but inverted that forms a quad “U” exhausts system ( the exhaust redesign is in 0:14)and I think the rear wing is a little highter, after that, there’s no changes.

Finally more content on the Bolide!! Really can't wait to see this car around once all of them are built. Really sad to think the W16 engine won't be used anymore after this. They should do a W12 that's a hybrid or something but that would be very interesting if they did.

VW group is also ongoing to get rid of W12 as well from their VW/Audi/Bentley models. I think it's gonna aim for different configurations
if bugatti is focused on making this quick around a track, this could be one of the fastest hyper/track cars ever. really wish they were building this and a LMH race car based off of the bolide like the valkyrie and amr pro were supposed to be

It's honestly crazy to hear the w16 sound so raw like that. For like 20 years the w16 has always sounded pretty tame and mute compared to v8s, v10s, and v12s. But the final send off shows just how cool this would sound if someone wanted to spend like 6 figures to modify their Chiron exhaust.
i swear it sounds like a v8 because of the burble but also like a f1 v10 absolutely goregeous sound
another bugatti that sounds wild is the bugatti vision gran turismo. i think there should be some start up vids on youtube
@@merw.originaloof359 Crossplane V8s and 16s can all carry the same growl due to being multiples of 8. The BRM V16 sounded just as hard-edged as this for the same reasons.

Scary to think there was possible audio editting because it sounds like a Go Kart or a lawn mower. It sounds like a modern F1 at best, nowhere near the like of NA V12 of the T50 or the Valkirie. Any regular Ferrari sounds better...

@@simonrano8072 Veyron sounds nothing like this. W16 sounds super muffled but this sounds like a deep roar. Watch this video and then go watch a video showcasing the chiron and veyrons sounds and you'll see. They are calling it good for a w16 and yes some of them are over exaggerating but you are too comparing it to the best sounding cars.

Jesko makes 1400kg of downforce and Bolide makes 2400kg...

The german engineer Frank Götzke, who developed the main idea and base of this car, is truly a genius. The whole development process was done by Bugatti Engineering GmbH in Wolfsburg and they are one of the best adresses for hypercar knowledge. That car is a beast!

It seems there diffuser actually works now and isn't all for show and that rear wing has been heightened for more downforce also what I like to call winglets above the front spoiler and the grill has been shortened wich makes it look even better. Bigger roof scoop. Inside the car there is air ventilation like gt3 cars pretty cool. Yeah this thing is gonna be a track beast looking forward to a video with no horrible editing to blur the car and see its performance.

The Bugatti Bolide looks like a track monster when it's seen driving! I do miss those disc shaped rim covers, they looked cooler covering those rims. I even miss the original interior, that interior was amazing to look at. I loved how Bugatti made the Bolide look a bit similar to the concept version. So far, it looks amazing!

For a production car yes. For a full on record? No. It comes no where near the speed of race cars like lmp1 or lmh or f1 through the corners. Le mans it could take a record from its higher top speed but the rest like spa or nurburing it will not beat the 919 hybrid evo or f1 cars unfortunately. 😅

This car is looking like the future of racing era. The design tells everything: monstrous, speed, unbeatable. The engine’s rev is something that every enthusiast would love to hear. And the “X” headlights is a great reference to old race era, that there was “X” on the headlights. Bolide - a piece of art. X - Extreme.
It will not be racing. It looks phenomenal and will be a good performing car on track days compared to the average Joe with his amg or porsche 911 gt3 or track only like huayra r but it doesn't come close to a race car. Top speed yes with 380 kph that's really fast but around the corners in a track like spa or nurburing it will be eaten for dinner.

@@allensaunders449 The whole car had design changes from the diffuser to the rear wing to the front grill to the roof scoop to the ventilation after rimac bought em. It had everything to do with them. This is their company their car now.
