  • Pine Pollen has become one of my favorite Superfoods. I love the fact that it is local, I can pick it myself and it looks like gold powder!!!
The pollination phase of a tree is all about it's ability to reproduce itself. It also affects our reproductive system and our ability to reproduce ourselves. Pine Pollen helps us balance our hormones and strengthens our immune system. It has over 200 nutrients and 20 amino acids. The Chinese have been gathering this golden powder for thousands of years. If you look around you will notice that it probably grows right out your back door.
Stay tuned for part 2 which will show you how to collect the pollen from the cones.

I wonder if the nutrient content changes once a rain or clear skies begins to whiten the brightest yellow. seems milder with it's contained phytochemicals or pigment at least.

Right, the tree is not taking a poll, it is pollinating.
