I must admit I am quite impressed with the looks of the Voge DS900X , it appears to be well built, well equipped and excellent value for money , all the RUclips reviews I have watched so far give the bike favourable reviews which is encouraging so I am going to arrange a test ride with a dealer in the near future.
Indeed. I would have to think a certain amount of brand commitment would be needed to pick the F900GS. I did a quick price comparison, the Voge with luggage is £9k, a F900GS with centre stand, crash bars, keyless, Tyre pressure monitors and cruise control is £13904. Luggage would take that over £15k and there’s no option for a heated seat. That’s an extra £6k on a £9k bike for a BMW badge and a cold bottom 🤣 (perhaps I’m over simplifying, but you get the idea)
Thanks Andre! Glad you got home from Italy ok & had a bit of time to rest? It is extremely unfortunate this brand is not available here in Australia. I motion you to migrate to Australia & set up an import business up here! Kove, Zontes & Voge all rolled into one! Summer is here by the way as an incentive...😎
Aye, sorry about that. Having an off day after getting a new camera and failing to do test videos outdoors. I bought a new Sony ZV-1 II for EICMA and I think I’d set the levels indoors incorrectly… apologies. I’ll try to stop it happening again. (This was filmed before EICMA, so I think I sorted it on the last 50 videos)
@@PeakMotorcycles Yeah, no biggie. Eicma coverage was superb!! Great production quality. I did watch about 90% of your vids. Keep them coming, possibly a mt800x demo ride?! :D
That or sharks in a beautiful location! Hard luggage is quite widely used though and some some people who use them on road still have both legs. Mostly.
I guess you could not connect it to anything? There is a microSD card slot on the bike for capturing video, so I guess you could remove that to copy the photos off as easily as Wifi?
Voge is a brand owned by Loncin. Loncin have been making BMW engines (parallel twins) and parts for the last 15 years. This bike shares and engine and other parts with the BMW F900GS. So with the same ‘parent’ I thought siblings made sense.
@ yeah I know all that, don’t see how a bikes that use an engine mostly the same are siblings, its unknown even if engines are even identical. There is a lot of misinformation in net about what that bike shares with the BMW, such as frame, swing arm, dash when in fact they aren’t same. I do like your vids, and no doubt the Voge is a good bike at a good price
@@guestappearance3211 not twins, certainly not identical, after all, it’s just over half the price of the BMW, and they are motorcycles, not people. Though I didn’t think it’d upset people to use the word siblings. For that I apologise.
Chinese crap 💩, unfortunately the Japanese are not giving us what we want ☝️, also how much crap 💩 do you need to carry on. Trip . The lighter and more compact the better , personally I only use soft and Semi- Soft panniers for camping trips away , when off reading anyway and only a solid top box Regards Paul from Australia
Have you ridden one? Also, do you put the BMW parallel twins in the same class? Voge is Loncin who have been making the BMW engines and parts for the last 17 years. To write it off without knowing what it is was a very popular point of view in the 1970’s for the British bike manufacturers. Most went bust by 1980 due to the Jap crap, except it wasn’t. In the UK, some high profile bike dealers selling BMW, Triumph and Ducati have gone under while every bike of the 500 DS900X’s coming to the UK is sold. If you have formed your opinions without any direct experience, then fair enough, but then they should be treated as such.

Hoping Voge come to Australia!
I hope so. Good luck

That sounds rather tempting, I’ll let you know if they let me in! 🤣
Thanks for the 4k but gosh the amount of noise. There is heaps of value to be found in this bike. Keep it up

I'm greatly interested in Voge rally 300... someday some review.
I’ve done a trail riding review of the 300. It should be on the channel. Let me know if you can’t find it and I’ll dig out the link.
really nice, too bad their not in USA, right?
Lumpy, Southern Pines NC
Yup, though I wonder if they will? Surely there’s a market there for them?
Nice looking bike
But the Hard luggage is the best way to lose a leg

@@PeakMotorcycles Ask me how I know?
@@Terry-Tibbs 😳. Damn those sharks. And the hard cases. Sorry to hear that.
Dumb question - what's the wifi for, camera to phone?
Not a dumb question, and yes, to download video from the bikes camera.
A lot of bike for the money. Not sure I like the idea of a wifi on a bike.
I guess you could not connect it to anything? There is a microSD card slot on the bike for capturing video, so I guess you could remove that to copy the photos off as easily as Wifi?
Sibblings ?
